  1. I already heard several of the dates - had mostly sold out? Still. I would gladly pay for the premium seats, for this Event!
  2. i'm closin' the door, and i ain't givin' it another think!
  3. ^ What gets me thinking about that Mark, is could they theme it according to what is usually a "tropical-african" atmosphere in the park's themeing, in general? With most of the steel coasters, they seem to have managed to make the supports and the track itself, the whole thing in fact, to fit within a themed area. Wood in such a more complex construction, takes a lot of visual space up. Even without themeing. It would be interesting to see how they could/would do it, if they had one planned...
  4. We actually caught our breath when, after we had lucked out on first ride on the SkyLoop, watched small groups of the tour running past us, back towards it, running fast, too. As we were heading back to the entrance of the park. We hoped everybody would make it in time.
  5. Ha! Maybe he should get a hold of the guy who made the Mystic Motel dark ride-thru, for his kids...and they start their own backyard theme park! Link to Mystery Motel thread: http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=66513&hilit=Motel
  6. How some people don't deal with the concept of any water ride getting you "possibly" wet.... I mean, even Splash Mountain in the Disney parks, isn't exactly a totally dry ride, yes? No? And I do mean those water rides other than It's A Small World, etc. I do not understand these people at all.
  7. Hey - truth - my fave four pics, exactly! Serial Mom is my absolute of the four.
  8. Very cool of that dad. And such a smart, interested kid! Not too bad a coaster either, LOL! And this is one of the best home builts I have seen in a long, long time. Even without a loop, heh.
  9. Very impressive park! And that mine train sounded to me, like one of those Japanese Jet Coasters.
  10. You Cheated Me - Martha Wainwright
  11. I keep looking at the train, and thinking... "This Train is Too Good for this track!"
  12. ^^ That place's burger menu looks a-ma-zing! Then those shakes.......wow. Damn, on the other side of the world, for me.
  13. Congratulations Stacey and Russ! Much happiness for you, from me and David.
  14. Robb, THANK YOU for posting a shot of what the front of the cottage, looks like! Wish I/we could get closer to see it. But right now, it looks exquisite! And Disney doesn't do too many large-scale fairy tale homes. Mainly in the miniatures for the canal boat rides. Congrats Disney! It's just perfect. And knowing The Witch is back there... some where, hee hee hee.
  15. ^ I love it when they're happy, and their little tails wag and wag and wag, lol.
  16. Wow - so much there now, since my last visit in......1987??? Yes, and I would really like to get back there again, for all those "newer" coasters and attractions, since that time. Thanks for sharing all these flyers, Mark.
  17. Great Scott! (EDIT to add: Also a shout out to "Rocky Horror"!)
  18. Raining, grey skies...perfect spring weather here, LOL!
  19. Robb and Elissa got us to sometimes three parks in one day, which was basically - Get into the park, find the credits. Do the credits. Leave for the next park. They did give us extra time in some of the more interesting parks, that had other (working) attractions to ride. A few. But not all of them.
  20. RUMOR: Due to the over-whelming abundance of coasters and new attractions opening in a year or so in Europe (Scandi included)....the "proposed" 2016 TPR CHINA Tour "might possibly" be moved to 2017 instead? Just a hunch. But still A Rumor, lol. (Also, that gives Shanghai Disneyland more time to get through all the bumps and mistakes after it's opening, and HKDL should have it's Iron Man Experience opened by 2017, too. Not to mention what else may be open In China, by then.)
  21. Oooooo - liquor/beer lollipops on their way to a liquor shop near you. Just been approved and somebody's making them in the US. Yummy.
  22. Great photos of how it's all going, Shane! And great to see you keeping busy. How far out of the city of Vegas is it? Sorry, I'm old. I forget. Boo hoo. I didn't even try and look. Thanks in advance!
  23. I remember somebody quoted years ago, in it's first dozen shows, first to go got a minimum $5000. Then it goes up dramatically from the jury on to the winner. Don't remember the numbers, but it read pretty right. Go Tony!
  24. Love the sign, hope the attraction's as good, when it opens.
