  1. Just realized me and the husbear like most German white sweet wine! Who knew!
  2. ^ Sure, Bob...... (NOTE: Everything is Awesome in JAPAN!)
  3. It all looks and reads awesome! That last open space may get more added to it, in the way of stalls and such, but it may also be wide open, for handling the size of Japan locals crowds that go through these franchise parks, like Universal and Disney. Some times a lot of space is needed. I am also wondering how these shops and eating places will be built, to handle such larger ongoing crowds, as well as the rides? Larger than what's in Orlando? Or going to be in Hollywood?
  4. I'm kind of sorry they didn't keep the one they voted off last week? Ya know, the one that was so - uh - memorable.....yeah her! What a sad young woman she was, amazing she lasted this long - which POs us off cause others might have stayed longer....
  5. If (and I say IF) China is on the 2016 Tour List, as well as this tour.... Such a decision I will have to - wait - DISNEY!!! THREE RESORTS!!! ALL IN ASIA!!! Fixed that nonsense in my head, I did. But still. Efteling is one of my fave parks in Europe....
  6. It's a glorious rain storm, and everybody who's going to this across-the-street Pizzeria, is running around, freeking out, running to their cars with no umbrellas.... love it.
  7. ^...the Yul Idol? Following the show, but not sure of this. (I'm old, so sometimes this happenssss..) OOPs Haven't watched the latest episode. So this all may be redundant, ha ha.
  8. Less than two months from riding this, on the TPR Scandi Tour. I don't think I can stand it... IT'S SO FLUFFY!!!!* *Which means, besides the "Despicable Me" shout out, Helix looks/sounds AWESOME!
  9. Sugar Buzz - k.d.lang
  10. oh my ph my oph my ophym oh my..... That was stunning, with the lights on! Wow. It looked wonderful. And sounded awesome.
  11. Mmm, that train looks very sexy.
  12. Ah, those were the REAL Dangerous coaster days.... Thanks for sharing this. Chris!
  13. Me and Liza - Rufus Wainwright
  14. How long do I have to wait for you?
  15. ^ And rounded the corners, just a bit. EDIT to add: I think the ride vehicles are fine. We're in the storyline, so we're all rats...sort of. I think the ride's environment around us will take our minds off the 'ugly vehicle'. And with all the lighting and sound and film/scenery, who knows how these things will feel like, riding in them? I've ridden in a hunny pot, so anything is possible LOL! P.S. I love the way Disney does their doors in dark rides. Just noting from that still.
  16. ^ Ferris Wheels have always been/felt unsafe to me, IMhO. It's amazing they haven't included seat belts by now, with some of them. I mean, it's just a bar across you and it's not even a lap bar!
  17. Fist City - Loretta Lynn (I love it.)
  18. "Wierd Chinese Coasters" just sounds redundant. Probably the majority of them would all apply, in this category. (from 2012 experience)
  19. Ah yes, I remember Thorpe well..... FInding the Canada Creek sign - X/No Way out - Colossus (my first actual headache form any coaster), 4D fun movie "Pirates', and.... The Stealth coaster was my first what-that-kind-is of coasters, lol. Didn't get a roll back, but then, that paled to our one-of-a-kind adventure called.... The TPR Bird Murderers One of those only-in-a-TPR Tour kind of moments. To those who don't know, one of Stealth's trains (one I was on in fact) obliterated a bird who decided to rest on the coaster's tracks. Bad move. Dead bird. And I thought it was pieces of paper flying all over and around us. Didn't realize it was the feathers, lol. I loved it, being able to take a pic with my country's name in a sign. Thanks Thorpe!
  20. When our annual queer (see? I used it!) film festival (Out On Screen) comes around every August, the names and labels and identifications are all mixed up into a really interesting diverse mix of film makers and viewers. The words are thrown around, all through the festival, and it's mainly through non-straight peeps, this happens. It's still negative, no matter what "the word" is said (or usually yelled), when hatred (or distain) is behind it.
  21. I am wondering if anybody on the recent TPR Wierd Japan Parks Tour will post a trip report. I enjoyed the "as it happened" from Robb & Co. while the tour was actually happening. But still - I miss an 'after tour' TR.
  22. A Feather's Not A Bird - Roseanne Cash
