TONY Award Nominations came out this morning, in New York... http://www.tonyawards.com/en_US/nominees/index.html A very mixed mag of noms. But I like that, rather than one play or one musical totally dominating the nominations - although "Gentleman's Guide" did rack up ten noms, followed by "HEDWIG" with eight. Hmmm. Not so mixed.... And - will Audra McDonald break "the record" with a 6th TONY Win...Lead Actress in a Play? She's won at least one in each of the other three acting categories, so ...why not? Audra McDonald's 8th nomination too, which is nearly a record in itself.

Mmmm. Just ordered a fistful of Broadway CDs, destined to all reach me, by the time I return from the TPR Scandi Tour, late June. Can't wait to listen to them all! Apparently, the "Friend Like Me' number is a-ma-zing! Gets a standing O every time! Another juke box musical. But hey - it's Carole King! Damn bridges. But Kelli O'Hara's sweet soprano....mmmm. And still, it's a choice to make, in the world. Idina Menzel RULES! And then there's Woody Allen. And Marin Mazzie... Who'da thunk a musical could be made of such a franchise? And Germany loved it! I mean, what other reason than SUTTON FOSTER coming back to Broadway? Well yeah, the musical's great too, I hear.

I feel really sorry for the fans and players on The Clippers. And I am not really a fan at all, of basketball. But I thought what the players did at a recent game, was classy and just smart. Well played, guys!

Glad you got a shot of that (actually) great little haunted walk-through, Chuck. It had a couple of actors in it, and although way shorter in time than Gasten Hotel, the sentiment was the same, hee hee hee. RIP Tusenfryd Haunted House.
