  1. What a trippy little park, Mike! Glad there was a credit there, for you, too.
  2. Oh well. I tried. Um... "Christmas EVE in July"?
  3. Have to admit it.... Joe Draves looks hot!
  4. ^ You won't regret it. And on our Playland Gay Day in mid-July, it's a bit patronizing, but they DO use the purple train, as well as the (usually) red train, for that Saturday. Drag Queens on Coaster! It's amazing! Silly! Fabulous! Hey GayCoasterGuy, let me know, if and when, and I can get you a cheaper one day pass to the park, through Safeway! And of course, meet up with you for a great visit to our park. And here's a Drag Queen who really impressed us last summer at Gay Day. From Las Vegas I remember. Great performer. Behind her is her "handler" lol.
  5. I will be the (unofficial) TPR Nag until some people get it right.... So, now I see people accidently double posting in some threads, but nobody seems to be doing anything about removing at least one of their two posts. Geez, how lazy are we, guys? It's really not that hard to figure out. Grrrr. (And remember. This is a RANT. Not something to argue about.)
  6. ^ You are most welcome! And here's a vertical shot of AtmosFEAR with the mountains behind. Showing more of the tower itself. There are some great shots, this direction, with the mountains in back.
  7. Hmmmm. July 25th. Announcement Theme could be... "Christmas in July"? Looked like that, to me.
  8. ^ Honestly, the only thing you can really do, in planning for a Disney park visit, is find the Refurbishments/Closures Button on it's site, and find out, some times a year in advance, what's closed etc. Sorry it didn't go well for you, but for the future, this should help better. And Disney is very active in updating information as it occurs. This is due in part, to how we planned two trips to Disney Paris in 2002, 2004, and 2007.
  9. I get peeved from people in this site who don't keep up with their sub-titles. You know, the little but written below the title of the thread? I mean, one currently I keep reading, has it's sub as "the new Christmas Season"... and this was 20+ pages ago! Please people! I would rather look at nothing under the title, than outdated stuff. Everything needs refreshing, truth! Grrrr
  10. ^ Well I looked and looked and then FINALLY found the answer for you - from an old TR of mine on Playland, LOL! The 2009 visit. Back then, the ACE plaque was there right at the queue entrance. Now it's not there any more, (actually, it might be interesting to find out where it went...) but the writing on the last three lines of that big paragraph, tell you that the designer/builder of the coaster also built the three trains, as well. Carl Phare & Walker LeRoy. Right there, in the small print. (o; And this was installed right after I returned from the 2009 TPR Scandi Tour! And this is what (currently) replaced the plaque. Is this... Progress? Improvement? Choose.
  11. Am pretty sure it's this kind of flat. Called an XXL? Not a great photo of it, but it gives you the idea of what's coming next year.
  12. Sunny right now, with a bit of precip, here and there, through our holiday weekend.
  13. ^ And so it should stay that way. But it won't.
  14. Well, it looked good for the photo, at least.
  15. Valentines Day - Bowie
  16. ^ And we'll even have more time spread out, than that 48 hours, too! (That's how long that add-on to Scandi was, in 2006.)
  17. I always find with most parks, it's just easier to start at the back and work your way forward, while everybody else is starting at the front, doing the reverse, etc. Most times it'll work out in your favor.
  18. Still amazing, after so long, I've been there! Great video, Hanno. Got to get back to Holiday Park, some future time.
  19. By the way - ha ha ha ha ha! Methinks another tour (Scandi) intercepts your generous opportune invitation, Sir! In other words...
  20. As a suggestion for the future, take along a few of those handi-wipe individual packets, and you can easily disenfect your hands after going on one of those water rides with the "questionable handles."
