  1. ^ When Tokyo Disneyland was first designed, the Japanese wanted as much of the original Disneyland as could be fit, into this man made property. So, at the time, they got the clapboard circus tent facades for Fantasyland, same design style for Tomorrowland, and a lot of everything else was pushed together to make sure all bases were covered in approximating what the locals were enjoying In California - and Florida. They even included the train ride, although as an attraction only, and not as transport. It's now that they've stepped back and re-examined what they originally created, as Fantasyland is now going to be larger, with property in Tomorrowland being given up, for the expansion. With more immersive theming. Like the makeover at WDW for Fantasyland there. I don't personally believe TDL is anywhere near the immersive theming level that TDS has. And remember, there is a near 20 year difference in the creation of these two parks. But soon, maybe by 2023, there will be evident comparisons to make between the two.
  2. ^ "The BUZZ-Bee Water Attraction"!
  3. I would go and visit there, for the temple/mosque architecture, alone. Having a a few coasters here and there, is cool too. But the architecture looks so beautiful and well balanced. And so ornate, too! Great "next part" Michael.
  4. And you don't look a day over....29. Happy B - MB David and me (the bears) back in 2001. And it was actually, the first time we had an On-Ride Photo emailed back to us from the kiosk, there! I've done a few more, since that time. But it was still a cool New Idea back then.
  5. I love the "Fifty-Cent Fabulous Fridays" thing, lol. Great idea, for those watching their park budget.
  6. W: Waterworld (1995)
  7. Forget the adults' choices. I want the kids' Brioche French Toast!
  8. ^ Then Playland should get off their PR butts and advertise this "first," yes? No? I mean, if this is a really First Ever seat arrangement on one of these things, even the company itself should be publically patting itself on the back too, heh.
  9. Just posted on the PNE's BLOG, Mar.19.... Looking west, towards Playland. Not too hard to make The Beast out, lol.
  10. I would kill myself, just trying to get on (and stay on) that track, LOL!
  11. Well, 2017 is the 25th Anniversary of the Resort, so maybe this is early prep maintenance for what's ahead, in the next couple of years, before it occurs? Just a thought on this. And we're visiting there in late September, so it will be interesting to see what's been finished, and what's still being refurbished.
  12. We enjoyed it, from the first episode. And we supported it no matter how 'wierd' it sometimes got. And now, it's gone. Bye bye GLEE. We really enjoyed it and what it did for young people with serious issues they were going through. Thanks for the music. And Sue, too. Entertainment Weekly did a few pages on the series ending. It was a great goodbye article with input from all the main cast.
  13. ^ Well, lost or won, "the battle" has it's spoils, too... like meeting the locals. The locals in TDS. (2007 TPR Japan Tour)
  14. ^ Very nice. Is this a first for this flat ride? Or has the company does this before with other XXLs' seats?
  15. I know (now) that Shanghai Disneyland (probably) won't be opening until 2016. But it's still fun to hope... and vote as well.
  16. Fujiyama - Fuji-Q Highland park Photo taken from the park's skywheel, on the 2011 TPR Japan Tour.
  17. I just found this, posted at Screamscape.com .....
  18. ^^ So I305forever... you should starting saving up NOW for a future TPR Japan Tour! To compare, right? And unlike the DisneyParis version of this coaster, TDS' Raging Spirits has smoke, and water... and FIRE! (2013 TPR Japan Tour)
  19. "It's vaguely a recipe..."
  20. "When Irish Eyes Are Smiling" Pick a radio station.
  21. I just found out, Entertainment Weekly is releasing a special tribute issue of Leonard Nimoy. Supposed to be on the stands now, or soon. Hope to find one, fast.
