^Sounds like they should have given you a better time table and instructions as to what your expectations should be. However, I'm not sure what you mean by paying to be a spectator? Did they have an area where they check wristbands and you couldn’t go past that point if you didn’t have one? Did they say that parents had to wait in a room outside the water park building until the kids are done playing? Or you mean by parents being allowed to go into the water with there kids?

Erik & Misty's Smoky Mountain Adventures

I found the first picture of the "space needle" interesting considering you at the same height as the needle itself. I guess things are a bit different down south. -
Maybe it isnt stupid, because I can see where they are comming from....but... I was online for The Dark Knight at Great Adventure and the group infront of us said that this line isnt worth the wait because it is just like Skull Mountain. First off, two different coasters....but that is beside the point, Skull Mountain is 10x better then The Dark Knight. I was going to tell them, but they probably would think I'm crazy and by them leaving, made the line shorter for me!

This is an interesting question... Did Robb have a stuttering problem? Eventually he was able to get down from Rob-b-b-b-b to Rob-b...and since he didnt want to be made fun of at school, he spelled his name with 2 b's so that he can t-t-tell him th-th-that is j-j-just his na-me. Just a theory.

^That is fantastic! Dane Cook was funny years ago, he just stinks like a big turd now. I just watched an Aeisha Tyler stand up show...she is really funny and unexpectadly raunchy. (Not in the annyoing Lisa Lampanelli (sp?) annoying raunchy).

Not letting a handicapped, single rider, thats just wrong...I can understand not letting you guys on the single rider line (perhaps you should have pretended like you didn't know each other). I really hope that the caretaker complained because there is no reason why they shouldn't of let him/her on the single line.

Those pictures from Great Adventure really bring back memories...I remember Lightning Loops was right across from the river rapids and waiting for my brother and father (I wasnt tall enough) to ride Lighting Loops so that we can go on the water ride! The Conestoga Wagon was so pretty back then...really taken care of. Now it just looks ordinary with the plain brown paint. -
My bunny, Lola...the super-cutest bunny with an attitude ever (she will attack you if you dont give her attention).

^^Maybe this is just me and not being allowed to date until I was 18, but, who needs to know about your sexuality at 15??!! Meaning, you shouldn’t be dating at your age and therefore, how would anybody know? I know its hard for you and you needed to confide in somebody. And since you told your sister, you should remind her that you trusted her with your secret and she needs to understand that you would be very hurt if she told anybody. Keep your focus on school and when you are out of High School and settled in college, date then. Keep mum about your preference while in high school if you feel uncomfortable about airing out YOUR business...when you go to college, your life will change dramatically and nobody will care about your sexual preference.

No no no...please people, stop giving SF ideas for taking away such a charming section of the park. Its bad enough that they, took out the giant tee-pee....they cant take away the giant conestoga wagon...and what are they going to do with the Saw Mill? And the Best of the West cafeteria (which, IMO, is the best place to enjoy a beer in the park)?

Everyday Objects

There is a tower that Picatinny Arsenal built in a hill along route 15 in Jefferson Twp NJ. Nobody knows what purpose it serves, it was built after 9/11 (draw your own conclusions). However, every time I drive by it...I think, the army people built there own version of Stuntman’s Freefall. -

You wont get that feeling from Kingda Ka...but you will feel your stomach in your mouth (so to speak) on El Toro. From thenakedscientists.com -
I think this site does so well is b/c the mods to a fantasic job of cutting people off when they are spammers, flammers, or any other 'ers. Seriously, there are so many community sites that are filled with flame wars and people talking out of school. I think the thing that stands this site apart is that they are so vigilant about keeping those folks off these boards.

This doesn’t really count as an everyday object, but the NJ Parkway...I dunno the exit number...your driving through a bay area, before the Absecon area...the road sunk in all along that road. It really felt like you were on "a roller coaster ride....weeeee!!!". Unfortunately, they paved over the road, so no more roller coaster ride. -
^^ I'm from Jersey and when I went to Disney World, I wanted to get my brother a silver coin of Disney's 50th Anniversary. They only had it in one art store (I think it was in Epcot)...and since it was a Disney Land coin (which was strange being in WDW), I thought I can just by it online at a later date.

Agreed. As long as they offer some type of coupon, I think 30-35 bucks for adult is reasonable. People are saying that they don't have a water park...but water parks that only offer water rides are about 30-35 bucks for admission. Some families aren't into water rides (for whatever reason)...so then this park is good for them. And there are folks comparing the park to a six flags...my question (b/c I've never been to HRP) is: do they charge for parking? How much does a meal/snacks typically cost? SF is cheaper, but they have a reputation of being very expensive once your trapped in the gate. If it ends up costing more then $100 extra for lunch for a family...then it isn't worth it.

Do you know the sites to shop for park stuff? I tried looking online and couldnt find the stuff sold in the art shops. Like some of the Disney Land artwork, coins, statues, etc.
