Q1) Are you Male/Female? Female Q2) How old are you? 27 Q3) When you go to a theme park, do you prefer riding wooden roller coasters, or steel roller coasters? Wooden Q4) Of all the different roller coaster trains, which do you prefer and why? Seated, standing, inversion etc… Seated b/c the other types of trains don’t feel natural. Q5) What’s your most favorite ride? Ride, Drop towers Coasters, El Toro Q6) When your on a roller coaster what do you think is the most THRILLING part of the ride? (Gives you the biggest buzz/rush?) The first drop. Q7) What do you think is the most SCARY part of the ride? (Makes you think twice about it?) The steepness of the first drop. Q8) Do you think roller coasters are LESS scary and thrilling after you’ve ridden them once before? Yes, but they still are fun to ride. Q9) Do you like the idea of an extreme roller coaster? (Think roller coasters crossed with extreme sports) If a coaster can be crossed with skydiving…that could be kinda cool. Q10) Themeing… Is the theme important in the overall ride anticipation and ride satisfaction? For the park, yes. For a coaster, not really. Q11) Queuing… Do you like to see the ride whilst in the queue? Or do you prefer the sense of not knowing what is going to happen? I like how Disney does the queues…they give a story and in turn makes waiting inline kinda fun/part of the ride. Q12) Because of the direct proportionality between rides and queue length, do you prefer short ride/short queue, or long ride/long queue? I don’t think there is a direct proportionality between the two…you can be on an extremely long queue for a short ride (Kindga Ka). But to answer your question…I guess a long ride/long queue. Q13) Is there anything you would like to see improved/changed with roller coasters? I’m a tall girl and OTSR’s stink…or with a lot of the older train rides, I get my knees squished.

Good luck Rob! I hope you see your goal...just remember the slower you loose, the slower it takes to come back. I lost 20lbs in the past 1 1/2. What I found to be most helpful (probably has something to do with my mild case of OCD) is to wear a pedometer and make sure that I hit 70K steps per week. It is a challenge especially if you work at a desk all day. Good luck!

Day 1: Now I know what it feels like to put in a full day of work (maybe I should do a TR). No TPR, no RCDB, they even took away my Yesteryear site....I think I should start looking for another job.

I FEEL YOUR PAIN...MY COMPANY STARTED BLOCKING TPR TODAY!!!! I should have known something was up when the IT guy was in the office yesterday installing an new computer looking thing from St Bernards iPrism company. This doesn't make me very happy...thank goodness I have a valid work reason (myspace) to go to the library and use their computers. Since myspace is blocked (something about the amount of viruses) and I have a networking site on it...gives me an opp to jump on TPR...not as often as I prefer...now I have to do work. I feel like I just lost a kidney. (end rant)

^We live in Northern NJ so a drive to Moreys would be like driving to Hershey...both are about 3 hours w. no traffic. Dorney and GA are about an hour and a half drive each. Where did you go on Sunday, Dorney or GA?

I need help..... I just found out today that my trip to Hershey this weekend has been cancelled since we cant do the two days (long story and a sore subject). So.... I'm trying to figure out what my group can do. Either go to Great Adventure I'll just buy a q-bot so we don't have to wait on line. Or.... Go to Dorney Park...nobody in my group has been there for at least two years and it is a change of scenery. My question is...does anybody know what the crowds are like on a Sunday in August at either of these parks? (We usually try to avoid going to parks this time of the year but we promised my nephew to take him out.) Also, does Dorney have a q-bot or some type of fast pass thingy? Thanks!

^I explained in a later post I honesty thought that I was looking at coaster dummies. Which made me think, Why did they place test dummies on a train when there are people in it? I live in Northern NJ right outside of the city...I've seen it all! But I have to say I've never seen person sporting a burka on a coaster.
