El toro restraints
Teacups Make Me Sick replied to vacoaster's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Ya, not true...I see people get turned away quite a bit. Not just men. I saw a women who had enormous "jugs" that blended in well with her stomach. It was quite a site to see the ride ops trying to get her in...but after a few trys, she didn't get to ride. -
Why not have a "TPR's Purchase Laser Fund" (original, eh?) drive. Since there are calenders already made up...we print and sell them in front of supermarkets or sell them at school or in the office. OR Since there are about 26K registered TPR users..Laser is up for sale at 1.2 mil...then we would only need to contribute about 50 bucks per member to buy it ourselves!!! Then I wonder, where would we put it??

Dumbest things said on TPR
Teacups Make Me Sick replied to Hercules's topic in Random, Random, Random
^No, saying something dumb is'nt a badge of honor. However... One shouldn't feel proud of demeaning others by pointing out their mistakes/flaws, but that is the purpose of this thread. If someone wants to call out silly things that they said...then whats the big deal? -

Aww...be nice to the young'ens. Tatum--if you want to be quoted...PM me the quote and I'll put you on here. -
Oh you should have mentioned that on your first post. Your speech could have gone something like this... "My fellow classmates, take a look around you b/c at least one of the people next will not make it to HS Graduation. Instead him/her will be living under a bridge turning tricks for crack." Or something uplifting like that.

Best and Worst Log Flumes
Teacups Make Me Sick replied to gldude's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Does the Viking boat ride in EPCOT count as a log flume? -
^In the Northeast...e-mail is just as acceptable as a written letter. Sometimes writing an e-mail might be more beneficial b/c the hiring might be making a quick hiring decision and therefore might never get the thank you letter until after the fact.

Congrats Eric! I'm very happy for you. Herc--your welcome. BTW-coping and pasting a cover letter is much better for the reader then attaching it. I used to date a guy in Philly (I lived in Doylestown)...and got to experience what happens to a road (76) that has not been expanded since the liberty bell cracked. Unless a SEPTA train can take you to work...you might be very unhappy with the commute.

I don't get it... Are you saying that b/c you kill the animal, then everything else is nulled and that the animal should just live its life in a miserable existence? Human treatment works very simply, not to be abusive and let the animal live a comfortable life. Clean air, plenty of food and water, sunlight, a clean place to rest (animals do not like living in there own feces), not being force fed, if it is injured...then it is being cared to.

A Knott's Rant....
Teacups Make Me Sick replied to fresh2otown's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Not for nothing...but they didn't ask you to watch the child, simply asked you to ride with him/her b/c you are a single rider. Kinda goes with the territory, I wouldnt write off the park completly. I had to ride with prepubescent teenager on Rolling Thunder at Great Adventure. He was quite large for his age (which meant that he was practically on my lap) and due to his braces (I guess) spit every time he spoke. It was a fun experience and he was a nice person...so maybe what I'm trying to say is just go with it...after all you are at a themepark. -
Photo TR: KNOEBELS!!....with a side of WDW
Teacups Make Me Sick replied to BeemerBoy's topic in Photo Trip Report Archive
Knoebels is my favorite... The food...pierogies...ice cream... People can bring their dogs in and there isn't an issue with doggie doo. The houses that are in the middle of the park and the feeling of being in a forest...it makes you feel like your at camp. -
Hidden Mickeys
Teacups Make Me Sick replied to Teacups Make Me Sick's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Maybe the Imaginers are secretly plotting hidden Mickeys outside the parks in order to GAIN WORLD DOMINATION!!!! Muahahahahahahahahahah!!! On a more serious note....why not? -
Hello, I would like to keep a thread on where you have seen Hidden Mickeys. Please note which park you have seen them at, which location at the park, any special instructions, and if you have any photos. WDW: * There is a manhole cover in front of Splash Mountain with a Mickey engraved in the middle of it. In the Haunted Mansion at WDW: * Towards the very end of the graveyard scene, you will pass a moslem on your right. When you pass it, you will have to turn yourself to look back into the moslem and you'll see a ghost holding a Hidden Mickey. * Also, there is an unofficial Hidden Mickey in the dinning room scene of the Haunted Mansion...three plates on the table make up a Hidden Mickey. So I've been told by a Disney Ambassador that when an Imaginer comes though the Haunted Mansion, they put the plates back to normal. (If there is a thread on this...sorry...the only item that came up on my search is a thread on clouds.)

You said yourself that you don't think you can make it a full day with the brace. Seriously, who cares what other people might think...it is very sweet of you to think that wheelchairs should be reserved for older people and those that really need one. But you do have a very legitimate reason to rent a wheelchair. An ACL tear is painful and debilitating...if you don't take care of yourself, surgery is 5x more painful and expensive. I had a friend that had to have surgery and she was in physical therapy for 6 months. Plus, just think...you don't have to wait on line for any rides.

DID YOU KNOW?
Teacups Make Me Sick replied to coasterfreak81's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Did you know that if you pass gass going down the first drop of a roller coaster, the person next to you can't smell it...however, not the same holds true when going up a lift hill. -
So this is what happened....
