  1. Regarding LaRosa's: I think it's just a preference thing. For me, I've never understood the hype. I don't enjoy the sauce and have always found the pizza bland. But I know others absolutely love it!
  2. Yep, definitely got me. I thought, “That is some pretty mediocre photoshop, but this name and concept are pretty darn clever.” Lol
  3. Intamin coasters are just plain SEXY. That’s all I have to say about that.
  4. Kind of cool...and kind of terrible. Lol
  5. Lol I will be riding 4 of these next month! Can't wait...
  6. June 1st? Psht, there's no way this thing will be any good until at least after June 7th...
  7. ^I’ve has multiple midwestern friends tell me in the past week that Invertigo is their favorite ride in the park. I just don’t understand.
  8. I feel similar to Robb. Basically every GCI coaster I’ve ridden I would describe as “fine.” Enjoyable, but unmemmorable. Here’s how I’d rank those I’ve ridden: 1. American Thunder (Evel Knievel at the time) * * 2. Lightning Racer 3. Mystic Timbers 4. Apocolypse 5. Thunderhead 5. Kentucky Rumbler 6. Gwazi 7. White Lightning * * 8. Wildcat Adding Troy, Joris en de Draak, and Wodan in May. Actually very optimistic about that last one.
  9. I have said it before, I'll say it now, and I'll say it forever- Mine Blower is not that rough of a ride. Would I call it smooth? Not by a long shot. But it's not as bad as, say, Gwazi. In your opinion. In our opinion, it's quite rough and headache-inducing (but still really fun). And Gwazi is known as being one of the roughest coasters to exist..so pretty unfair argument.
  10. And Adventure Express! Lol (but seriously)
  11. ^That’s my roommate! He’s hard to pick out in the trailer because he’s wearing a long black wig. Haha
  12. My roommate and one of our best friends actually costar in this movie! They filmed in South Africa last spring for 3 months and built the park set from scratch. Please support this movie when premieres in June and watch out for Conner McVicker (Stiv) and Brigette Lundy-Paine (Four-finger Annie)!
  13. ^With that being said, make sure you still try the macaroons, because they are DELICIOUS!
  14. Even as simple as this coaster layout is, I'm really excited to see how this new track rides. Did Vekoma provide it?
  15. Great report, Billy! I've always loved hearing about your passion/obsession for the Schwarzkopf coasters. lol I personally don't think Revolution is forceful enough to enjoy as a VR experience. What makes the coaster great is it's long, sprawling layout through the trees and relationship with the terrain. When you take away those visuals, the sensations are muted. It becomes more like watching a movie in the back seat of a car.
  16. Hm. Actually looks a lot more fun than I originally thought!
  17. Why are we acting like in-line seating is a new thing? Lol https://rcdb.com/r.htm?ot=2&ml=11874
  18. ^ 1. Dollywood took a risk by installing the world’s first launched wooden coaster. 2. Herschend’s other RMC was a big success.
  19. ^It is being built. That was Intamin’s proposal, which won. Though now it will have a slightly different ending.
  20. ^YES!!! Dino Island was my first 3D motion-theater experience when it was at Kentucky Kingdom back in the late 90’s (maybe early 2000’s?) Such a fun film/ride!
  21. Please no trims please no trims please no trims
  22. I thought it looked like a pretty good time from the first video. Then I watched the second and realized...yep, just the editing.
  23. Will this be the first summer of no Luminosity?
