  1. Well that’s exciting. But I wonder if this is included in the 40-50mil in capital cuts.
  2. Dorney getting a new coaster? Yay!!! Dorney removing one of their few good coasters? Booooo
  3. Traveled down the YouTube gutter tonight and wound up finding some videos about this park. That hyper looks like one of the best layouts B&M has ever come up with for one, but apparently the park/coaster has never opened? Any chances of this thing being relocated somewhere else?
  4. Seriously though, aren’t the ride pieces already on site? What does it cost to assemble a portable wild mouse—a thousand bucks? Lol
  5. ^Just invite over all the kids on your street!
  6. Such cool pictures! Thanks for sharing, John! How could a coaster that looked so good have been so bad?
  7. Ugh. Vogel Rok. She'll always have a place in my heart. Also, those apple pies were so delicious. (Not that the other 17 desserts I had at this park weren't, as well.)
  8. Umm can we talk about the last shot of that video where a news reporter and cameraman are standing on Eagle's catwalk when a train full of riders comes screaming by!!! Lol, wild times...
  9. I went to the park for the first time in 1999 and I remember picking up the brochure from our hotel and seeing Ninja’s bright red train with a white stripe spiraling through the serpentine corkscrews on the cover. I wasn’t tall enough to ride it at the time but I’ll never forget how gorgeous I thought that image was. However, I was tall enough the ride Screamin’ Eagle (which looked beautiful and GARGANTUAN at the time) and it’s been one of my favorite wooden coasters ever since.
  10. Thanks for another great poll guys! The biggest surprise to me was seeing Superman: The Ride (SFNE) at #25 Steel, a few ranks below Goliath. I had so much fun on this last trip to Walibi Holland but I definitely think Goliath and Untamed are a tad overrated. Then again, I made some kind of mistake and accidentally left (the wonderful, elegant, expensive) Wildfire off my list this year. BUT, I’m super excited to see Tulireki at the bottom of the list. That thing is awful. Top 25 1. El Toro 2. Sky Rush 3. Intimidator 305 4. Fury 325 5. Hyperion 6. Maverick 7. Steel Vengeance **(Wildfire) 8. Voyage 9. Taron 10. Millennium Force 11. Tiaga 12. Lech Coaster 13. X2 14. Phantom’s Revenge 15. Expedition GeForce 16. Lightning Rod 17. Outlaw Run 18. Mindbender (SFOG) 19. Blue Fire 20. Black Mamba 21. Powder Keg 22. Behemoth 23. Storm Runner 24. Leviathan 25. Goliath (Walibi Holland) Honorable mention to Balder at 26! Bottom 5 5. Demon (CGA) 4. Corkscrew (Cedar Point) 3. Cedar Creek Mine Ride 2. Coast Rider (Knott’s) 1. Tulireki
  11. That camelback looks absolutely heavenly. But gonna go ahead and push my trip to July...
  12. WOW. I can’t tell you how many times I laughed out loud during this report. It truly captures how much FUN we had on this trip—including but not limited to when AJ nearly obliterated that child on the slide. Efteling is such a special place. I missed out on a lot of the magic the first time I went, so I’m very thankful for this TPR group. Hard to beat a highly themed park with 1.5 fantastic coasters in a box! Especially ones with so much almost-airtime!
  13. Wow, a near-full-sized modern custom wooden coaster in North America that I’ve never heard of? Maybe I’m not as nerdy as I thought. Looks like a fun little scenic ride. Too bad. At least the community seems SUPER thrilled about this new boarding school!
  14. Ahh!! Time to relive the glory days! Bobbejaanland was a perfect way to “ease into” the trip. A fun collection of coasters, including a genuinely good one, AND one in a box!!! Plus, a log flume in a box!!! Belgium just...gets me. Glad you got to take pics from the Ferris wheel. I’m jealous I didn’t get to see those views in person, but they’re really gorgeous. I love how it’s nothing but forrest and farmland in the distance. Reminds me of home. Next time we’re there we’ll have to try some shots of Panther Piss! (Don’t worry, I’ll take yours for you.)
  15. ^Did Canada’s Wonderland add something like the supernova recently? I know BGW had one at some point but I could’ve sworn another park in North America installed one more recently.
  16. Is the wave pool really positioned to splash Pandemonium like that? Could lead to a few unexpected surprises...
  17. If I’m not mistaken, Kentucky Kingdom’s model didn’t flip.
  18. The cost of a single day admission ticket to SFMM at the gate is $92.99. Lol. K.
  19. This hits like a blow to the chest. Really holding out hope a great buyer comes in a scoops up this (potential) gem of a park.
  20. Love the aesthetic of all those colorful kites again the gloomy sky. Very cool! The Dutch must love turning boats into hotels.
