  1. ^Unfortunately, this effort combined with the Timberliner fiasco resulted in Voyage running 6 car trains indefinitely (opposed to the original 7).
  2. I think I’m falling deeply, madly in love with Vekoma.
  3. Fun seeing your experiences at some American parks! Powder Keg is criminally underrated. I can’t believe no other parks jumped on that product. It’s wildly thrilling but suitable for the whole family—hard to beat that!
  4. While I’m not as big of a fan of Walibi Holland as others, they sure did show us some amazing hospitality and this group made the visit SO much fun. I’d love to return with TPR sometime after another addition. Untamed is a great coaster, made even better by using “the method!” I got a good laugh out of that Speed of Sound pic. Crazy how far Vekoma has come in 20 years... Another fun memory: one-by-one, everyone in our group was peer pressured into Tomahawk. It would be the last flat of the trip for some.
  5. That's an exciting teaser! Glad to see a park moving ahead with 2021 plans despite the uncertainty of this season. I could definitely see them using the name Dragon Slayer for a new coaster taking over this plot of land.
  6. ^I was hoping to see an announcement like this soon! Great news!
  7. Most logical people who want to enjoy roller coasters again without passing on/contracting a virus.
  8. That concept art is magnificent. I’ve gotten addicted to Mad Men this week, and now with this, I think I might need to go into advertising. I love the idea of Big Bad Wolf splashing down into the lake for the finale. Who doesn’t love a little hyperbole?
  9. Ugh, I love this ride so much. And it’s non-existent lines. Does the trim still bite as hard as it did in 2015?
  10. ^Seriously though, that is some AWESOME concept art. So intimidating, yet humorous.
  11. ^Agreed. It seems logical to assume there will be some leniency with special situations.
  12. I can’t think of a better addition for CP at this point. (Yes, they still need a dark ride...) It looks like Mack still makes classic-style log flumes. Something like Timber Mountain Log Ride would be a fantastic family addition and such a crowd pleaser. I’m afraid the failure of Shoot the Rapids might have killed this dream, though. I wonder how much a modern flume would cost. I just saw that Disneyland’s Splash Mountain cost $75 million in 1987. Holy cow.
  13. When is the full photo TR of the red light district coming?
  14. Looks like the last 30 seconds of Fujiyama.
  15. Looks great! I know it’s just a boat ride, but it still feels like a step in the right direction for Cedar Point.
  16. As expected, the Facebook interview post is already filled with comments from locals saying they’ll only return if the prices are cheaper because they used to be able to get in for $1...
  17. “Comparably inconsequential number of human lives” Ouch.
  18. Wow. That happened so fast. I’m officially angry at my friends for not letting me stop here when we passed by in 2013. Silver Comet always looked so fun.
  19. ^Just be careful with your expectations. WCR is fun, but it’s definitely no Twisted Colossus.
  20. ^Love that idea! I’m hoping to do the same.
  21. Was this the most fun day of my life? Quite possibly. Others' experiences may vary... That Mack spinner is absolute insanity. More please. Not pictured: when I came down, Kristen flew into the sky and was never seen again. It was very sad.
  22. Colorado Adventure and other Phantasialand gems!
  23. ^Ugh, 6 of my favorite rides. Why did they have to leave us so soon?
  24. Looks nice but would look even nicer if they could plant, like, one tree.
  25. It seems that every time official documents are leaked, there are still people who yell, “the plans are fake!” When’s the last plans like these were found that didn’t turn out to be 100% accurate? Orion, Candemonium, Valravn, Mystic Timbers... I suppose there will always be those who live in denial.
