^There's only one change I know of...CaseyFish used to be "DJ Lurch" or something like that. Robb, Elissa, or one of the ASSistants would have to make that change for you, and it's something they generally don't do...to my understanding.

I finally rode it last month, and it was pretty much the ride I had expected. A few bone-rattling hills and drops devoid of airtime. A couple of rough inversions. However, I was a little surprised by how pointless, slow and boring it was after the midcourse brake. It did absolutely nothing for the rest of the ride, but still painful--painfully slow. Yet I would ride it again if I didn't have to pay the $14.

I'll be the first American to reply, but since I've been to Denmark, Norway, and Finland, I think I'm qualified. Oh, more Malle, please! -

In a synchronous motor, the magnetic field is moving at the same speed as the object it is moving, hence "synchronous." In induction motors, the speeds are different. -

The LSMs on Superman double as brakes when the car rolls back. With LIMs, it requires a separate braking system. That's one difference. -
I'll post WCB pics too. not even this one... Nor this one... I've been told this doesn't count as a picture of me.

I don't think even celebrities deserve to be treated like celebrities. However, if someone knows who you are and still gives you bad service, he/she is shooting his/herself in the foot since the tale of your bad experience will end up on here. And like you said, it's important that even the small issues are brought to the attention of management. I think posting about it on here is one of the best ways since Jay and Neal are TPR members. I'll reiterate that point by restating how I thought I was overcharged by the park's vending machines (A $3.50 soft drink ended up being $14.) Well, it turns out the $14 was just a hold on my checking account, and it was released after the correct $3.50 was charged for each of the transactions. However, I greatly appreciated how Neal told me he would look into in personally. So, if there's ever a problem, let it be known, Jay and Neal (& maybe even Tim ) honestly do care, and will help you if they can.

Since this thread has gone off into a tangent anyway, I'll say this... If you are a roller coaster enthusiast and think you're going to get into roller coaster designing, forget it. Not going to happen. It has to be the other way around. You have to have an interest and aptitude in engineering, designing, and all things mechanical to start off with, and for some that crosses over into roller coasters. ^That's cool, Tyler, I hope you like working with Audra.

If any employee at Magic Mountain doesn't know who Robb is, they've obviously just fallen off a turnip truck. It is possible the girl at Attitudes just doesn't like Robb, or was taking the name of the store a little too literally. However, getting every employee to be like Jahan, Brandon, Mike, or William is damn near impossible. It doesn't take much to do your job adequately, though, and there's never an excuse for rudeness.

It seems the "Fries & Shakes" location would be better for the full menu, and vice versa. I'm just talking about the facilities. Well, the fried chicken restaurant was legendary and I'm glad there's still chicken served there. Anyway, I hope we see premium dining returning to Samurai Summit sometime soon.

Queue and all, I think Sierra Twist's spot is too small for any sort of drop tower. (EDIT: Except for a Moser kiddie one.) I also think it would be a bit out of place there. Six Flags seems to favor Intamin, Cedar Fair seems to favor S&S, except the former Paramount parks favored Intamin as well. I don't care which, but I think the best spot is still where Freefall was. Mark Shapiro said he doesn't like inversions in the "written" part of the interview with Robb.

To see KD circa 1977, check out the movie Rollercoaster. Good stuff, I always like seeing things how they were. -
^Yeah, I think Ninja pretty much already serves that purpose, with its 42" height requirement. It really should be something unlike anything else at SFMM, with a low height requirement and no upper height restriction. I think an El Loco would be perfect, but Mark Shapiro is biased against inversions, so we'll see.

And that G force number is wrong. It's less than 1. We're all experiencing 1 G just sitting in our computer chairs. -

Although a pregnant woman may not be able to fit under the lap bar, the forces are so gentle I think there would be no risk to the baby. I think a ride like Kingda Ka or Top Thrill Dragster should replace it. It would fit almost perfectly in that space. But it is Tim Burkhart's baby, and he intends to keep it. So, perhaps it would be possible to increase the rate of acceleration, if not the top speed. If it only goes 85-90 mph now, if it reached that speed after 3.5 seconds, let's say, it would be a much better ride than it is now. I've also pictured it running tjhe cars backwards so you're facing down for the drop, but a backwards launch may be uncomfortable.
