RIP Psyclone

After speaking at Cedar Point at an event to celebrate Magnum XL-200's 10th anniversary (and sporting a slightly different style of eyeglasses), Mr. Toomer has been MIA. There have been rumored sightings, but nothing concrete.

There's one thing no one has done, despite many chances at WCB. That being a full video of an X2 test run. A newer one would be especially nice since the kinks have been worked out, allegedly.

To pull an EBL, corrected for truth. Many other companies have broke the 100 foot mark, successfully. Fortunately Cobb/Summers will torture us no more.

I heard that to promote the movie a few years ago, they actually opened a temporary White Castle somewhere in Hollywood! I hope they do againfor the sequel, because that was an opportunity missed. I have bought the freezer packs, but I'm sure it's not quite the same. Del Amo Mall location? It's still there. Apples and oranges, my friend.

I'd say with a decent woodie and a steel hyper designed solely for airtime, SFMM's coaster lineup would not only beat CP, but be the best in the world. However, SFMM just isn't in the right location to be a "destination."

^I agree, Guy. As for EBL, I've seen a handdrawn layout of the Matterhorn tracks. They're probably not perfect, but if I had found them I would have posted it here.

If only this were currently alongside the model of Space Mountain: Walt and his model.

The one thing Cedar Point has on Magic Mountain is that it's a "destination." Magic Mountain, is, has, and always will be a park for locals, die hard enthusiasts, and tourists of So Cal whose primary destination was not MM.

Psyclone, it could have been so much better! An Aska/Viper clone in that spot would be great. Psyclone's Revenge! However, as Elissa has pointed out, people would assume it's the same ol' Psyclone, even if it had a completely different layout, like El Toro.

Ideally, no, because the "disposable" income that families spend on theme park trips can be reallocated from other things such as new cars, clothing, etc.
