  1. ^Yeah, it is bad enough. Oh well. $14 for a soft drink, I don't mind because I know they will make good use of the money! Also, did anyone else notice the one unpainted support of X(2)? It extends down into the break room, I think. Maybe they left it unpainted to keep the room cheerful!
  2. One small point...I used the vending machines twice to get powerades, the ones that let you use a credit/ATM card. So I used my debit card both of the times. Today I looked at my statement--$14 per transaction! Ouch! Was there a $10 service fee I didn't know about? If so, I should have read the fine print.
  3. ^Me too! I was on that last train as well. Goliath at night is great. It was great that the op gave us 2 "last rides".
  4. Some of the questions were hard to hear by the anti-social people like myself sitting in the back. For instance, I have no idea why Tim referenced Star Wars with *waves arm* "These aren't the droids you're looking for." But anyway, an El Loco would be great, so I hope the rumor is true.
  5. Yeah, it does look eerie for some reason, but we should note that it wasn't taken yesterday. It does give a feeling of how good our ERT was, though!
  6. Glad you had a good time. It was nice riding Colossus with you guys.
  7. ^We were up in the Sky Tower around 9 too, it was very impressive! I know everyone was spread out during nighttime ERT, but I'd say they were more concentrated at certain rides than others, mostly Tatsu and Goliath. The whole back of the park was very dead by 10. I just expected to see more people at, let's say, Riddler's, Batman, & Scream, since they weren't open for morning ERT.
  8. Yeah, it was funny how many people ended up at Johnny Rocket's. Unfortunately, my group did a lap around the park in the opposite direction looking for food instead of walking there directly from Magic Moments. Oh well, at least we got there in time. And yes, it was great to see Jay and Tim working in there. It was funny how many times we saw Tim throughout the day.
  9. Wow, I didn't notice the ride locker policy being strictly enforced, but I guess that's because the ride ops must have been told not to with the WCBashers. Also, it is true that the seat rotations on the new X2 train are very jerky. Definately not ready for riders yet. The seats also were jerking back and forth (Devo reference for Robb) as the train hit the brake run.
  10. ^Yes, I agree, Shane. It was a pleasure letting you and Miles have those front row seats on Riddler's Revenge.
  11. The park really did go above and beyond with the nighttime ERT. The only problem was it seemed hardly anyone stayed for it! I was there for the very last 2 rides on Goliath with my friends, and it was one of the few times I actually saw more than 1 or 2 other people. I just can't believe people would have paid for the full day event and not stayed for nighttime ERT.
  12. ^2004, apparently. I had to look it up myself: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pinfari
  13. Nice group photo, and I'm sure you were pressed for time, but the tours were running late, and the blue group didn't make it there all the way to Magic Moments from X2 in time.
  14. Awesome Photo TR! Judging by the time you posted this it looks like you may have missed out on evening ERT:( But I know you had fun anyway. It's true, the yellow group was the ultra-cool super-VIP group. I was in the blue group.
  15. So there's no way to pre order the $18.50 general admission tickets, we just have to buy them tomorrow, at a separate location from the WCB check in where we'll pay the $20.
  16. Ikea? Do Swedish-Americans or Norwegian-Americans have a greater presence in Minnesota?
  17. Wow, it's great to know that others are just as excited about this event as I am! I hope to meet you and your family!
  18. ^I know, as if maybe Ben regained Locke's trust, then knocked him unconcious and proceeded out of the house, putting on a show for Sawyer and Hurley as if everything was cool.
  19. "Guest Speaker from S&S Worldwide, Inc". I said I hope it's Stan (Checketts).
  20. Would it be possible to see a list of those attending?
  21. ^^Well, it is a known fact that Michael will return. Last week's episode was good, but it may turn out to be the show's "jump the shark" moment.
  22. I hope it's Stan, and then I'll thank him personally for the greatest ride of all time--Dodonpa.
