  1. Did anyone else think anything of the taxi that picked up Kate? It looked odd to me, almost ominous, being the only one there and you just saw the back of the driver's head. I thought the driver would be a plot twist, but no. Also, I thought I saw Matthew Abaddon very, very briefly outside the court building at the beginning of the episode.
  2. ^What a great classic commercial! I heard about an old commercial for Freefall at SFMM with fighter jets or something, have you seen that? And by the way, excellent, excellent work in regard to your Knott's video.
  3. Forbidden Eye is the best because of Eeyore.
  4. It's not worth using on Revolution, I'll add.
  5. Okay, let me get this straight. The Tilt-A-Whirl was known as Circus Wheel. Before that, there was a Trabant in that spot, also known as Circus Wheel. My memory has failed me as to where the T-A-W was located while the Trabant was there.
  6. Aaron is not considered one of the six. I believe the other two will be Jin & Sun.
  7. ^The element of surprise has passed.
  8. ^It was just locked at first, then deleted later. That's fine, but I think somewhere in the subject of this thread it should indicate that this is going to be the world's fastest roller coaster. As it is now, it's barely noticed.
  9. The funny thing is, at Disney parks where fastpass is free, I've never been subjected to, or witnessed any unhappy people in the standby line. I guess they are not bitter because they could have had one too. It seems to be the fact that money was paid, institutionalized bribery as was said earlier, that ticks people off. I'll make it clear that I am all for it, and agree that the price needs to be set high enough so that only a handful of people will pay for it. I just wish SFMM had a more extensive flash pass system that just getting 4 rides total. $50 for unlimited rides would be worth it to me, at least on a busy day.
  10. Well since my thread got locked, here is the rcdb info on this coaster: www.rcdb.com/id4161.htm
  11. Well, hopefully SFMM will need them even less with this new regime. Previously, it had been the norm to have 1 train operations across the board, turning what could have been 20-30 min waits into an hour or more.
  12. The picture of Chris looking like a child in awe on the ferris wheel is funny.
  13. Also, it seems the transfer/maintenance shed used to be uncovered. I had forgotten that. Also, that picture shows what an awesome ride X is, and X2 will be, in case anyone had forgotten!
  14. SFMM has been on the right track, and that's great. If we enthusiasts want to take credit for putting fire under their butts until something was done, that's fine. However, I think it was more along the lines of "Well, we're not gonna sell it now, so...let's make it better." Mega Props to Jay Thomas and team.
  15. Tom Leykis would be proud.
  16. ^^Yes, it is still a very popular attraction, although perhaps a more futuristic type of car would be better. Disney has been blurring the borders of the "lands" for many years. America Sings was in no way appropriate for Tomorrowland, but when a very high quality attraction opens, people will flock to it no matter if it's in the proper land or not.
  17. *Star Tours upgrade/refurb *People Mover return/track used for something *Innoventions replaced with something...good! *Astro Orbiter/Rocket Jets returned to top of People Mover *Honey, I Shrunk the Audience...anything but! I've never been a fan of of Redd Rockett's Pizza Port, especially since it's in former attraction space, but 10 years later it's still a very popular restaurant with lines often out the door, so who am I to say. I think the attraction in Tomorrowland that is most missed that was true to the spirit of Disney is Adventure Thru Inner Space. Like BeemerBoy said, the concept of space travel (Rocket to the Moon/Mission To Mars) no longer seems futuristic, but shrinking is still a very "fun" concept, except for "Honey..."
  18. Giant Dipper at Belmont Park in San Diego, CA, but I believe it's pretty much a year-round coaster. It just had to be done sometime.
  19. Well, Shane updates this almost every day, and it gets lots of replies and views...it is pretty much sticky! Thanks, Shane, for the stickiest non-sticky thread!
  20. +Millennium Force, Top Thrill Dragster, American Eagle, Ragin' Cajun, Vertical Velocity, Goliath, X, Revolution, Superman: The Escape...am I missing any?
  21. So what, you deleted? Honestly, man, you gotta have a better sense of humor than that. I get a lot of sh*t on this site, but I keep coming back because I'm here for the same reason as everyone else, a love for theme parks and roller coasters. Also, you shouldn't have posted that pic here if you didn't want it to come back in a (sort of) humorous way.
  22. I've checked the website and determined that the Pinfari is simply called "Montaña Rusa."
