  1. No, I wouldn't call you that! I thought she was calling you that. I thought you and her were inseparable on the trip, and I didn't think she would have been talking about anyone other than you. Sorry, man!
  2. Stupid question: I registered for myself and two guests, but I didn't have to submit their names, did I?
  3. The pics on that page look like Robb's...don't they?
  4. Shawn? lol British/English/Mancunian slang is cute, but is it really necessary to bring up ace? lol
  5. I've never been...would you still recommend it to someone like me? Credits aside, it still seems like a fun place.
  6. Yes! That had occured to me as well. Viper would be much better if it had a straight drop. It's not like Arrow was unfamiliar with the concept, they had used it before on such rides as Turn Of The Century/Demon: Now if only we had an 18 story version of that, and a bit steeper!
  7. Oh man, Robb, you have no idea what kind of trouble I've been into coming back from Tijuana. Despite the 3 credits to get, I'm not going back! --Chris
  8. I forgot one: *Batman: The ride vs. Raptor: Batman is more thrilling, better overall, but Raptor is longer and at least has mostly the same elements. And yes, Robb, this is pointless, but my aim is noble: to eliminate single park fanboys!
  9. It has been the common perception that Cedar Point is a better park than Six Flags Magic Mountain. In terms of service, the quality of the rides, etc. But let's see how the 2 parks stack up against one another when you compare similar rides: *Gold Rusher vs. Cedar Creek Mine Ride: A close contest, feel free to compare them thoroughly. *Ninja vs. Iron Dragon: Ninja wins, by a landslide. Right? *Riddler's Revenge vs. Mantis: Riddler's Revenge is better, yes? *Colossus vs. Gemini: Not the best comparison since Gemini has a tubular steel track, but Gemini is smoother while Colossus is more thrilling, I believe. True? *Revolution or Viper vs. Corkscrew: Well...I don't know! *Goliath vs. Magnum XL-200 or Millennium Force: You tell me!
  10. I think it's great that X2 is getting so much attention and is so hugely anticipated. It's getting the attention it would have got when it was brand new, only moreso now because internet forums and websites about theme parks are more widespread now. It's getting more attention than just about every new ride opening this year! Anyway, does anyone know why Sierra Twist is closing? I thought Thomas Town is to be located on the "other" side of that main walkway.
  11. #1: He's well past his prime #2: He's old for an NFL player (unless you're Morten Andersen) #3 Retiring now, he's going out with a bang, instead of retiring when you're old, injured, washed up and no one will sign you. It was the right move.
  12. It may not be ready, but would you take your chances? Hell yeah. Even bringing out the old trains for a day would make many people very happy.
  13. Yep, and Kingda Ka has trim brakes at the very top as it starts to descend. You can clearly see them in this video:
  14. Sad, sad news, Jay-Z. Who didn't get their credit? Me.
  15. Is that Jesus on the Boulder Dash wood?
  16. Elissa M. Alvey, née White: Hey, I was wondering, what is your favorite episode so far this season? How about your favorite episode overall since season one? chris
  17. I have about 75% of the Photo TR already typed up. Increase this to $100 bucks and you have a deal. Thanks for the comments guys! I'm glad none of you noticed that I'm late. -Jahan Um, $10?
  18. Any votes for Panic! At The Disco? Paramore?
  19. It's a shame she will probably never logon to TPR ever again. Still, it's very cool that a "former" member won an Oscar. I haven't seen Juno and probably won't, but she is "one of us" and she made it big in this world! But if somehow you're reading this, Brook, please say hello sometime. We'll never forget you! Imagine how popular a TPR trip would be if you joined one!
  20. I think, ideally, a big ride (very tall roller coaster or drop tower) will make you a bit nervous before the first time you ride it. A truly great one, however, will make you nervous before the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th you ride it as well.
