  1. This one looks like fun to check out. If I ever get to LA, we'll have to meet up and hit the park. Way to go Tatum! Good report.
  2. Wes, I tip my mullet to you and sign me up for a shirt if you all ever sell them.
  3. Glad all you Cali folks are doing ok. Saw the story on CNN and thought "Aww Crap!" I count you all as friends and yes, I get a little worried when stuff like this happens.
  4. First, Congrats to Mike. I'm sure he's feeling a great swelling of pride...or something. Second, Haux, you have a sense good sense of humor and a sharp wit. Idiots don't come up with good captions or zingers. Third, TPR is a fun site once you get how it works. Take it from the tempermental (yet lovable) mullet guy. The "I'm Gay" update this morning was great! I did a double take.
  5. Never seen Wild Waves before. Neat place. Good to see Lumber Jack Falls/Old Mill Scream (Opryland) again. Cool TR.
  6. Aha! That's a winner Oh, I'm gonna have a GOOOOD time reading the index over the next few nights. Thank you for your patience, Robb.
  7. That'd hurt.... Good one. Ok, going by coaster05's rule of "did my post add anything of value", all the changes and improvements to Magic Mountain make me really want to check this place out. Before, I could've cared less. "Yeah, just another park." The positives I keep reading here have changed my tune. Plus fixing little things like Valencia Falls or adding the cyber cafe, really make to the atmosphere better. Nice touches folks. Hope to see you within a couple years.
  8. Being able to sort by park and have trips reports and videos on the same subject in ONE place is really useful and a time saver. I like how there are PTRs from different years. Gives a good history and contrast of a particular park. Is there a way to include certain ride PoV's for a particular park (ie Hulk for IOA, etc.)? Or is that another can of worms? There reason for asking is, most times I'm interested in a specific coaster and would hunt that by park. Sure, RCDB is an option, but they don't have PoV's. To sum up, no gripes and this index is a great tool. Kudos to you all on a mammoth job.
  9. As Hellboy would say: Aww Crap! *sigh* Here we go again...
  10. Nice pinball machine collection! What else was there again? Kidding. Looks like a fun place and thanks for putting this up.
  11. Just catching up on this thread. Enjoyed the updates and the rapids shots. Much thanks for all.
  12. ^ That Character Factory is really cool! Try it out everybody.
  13. Dude this is great! Here's me and my Li'l Robby Robb counterpart. Thanks Tomi for my first characature ever.
  14. "And what does wood do?" "It...floats? It Floats!" "Ahh, but what ELSE floats" "...very small rocks..." Couldn't resist.
  15. (furiously packing bags...)
  16. Good point. You'd think I could spell it right after living there 3 years. Lol! This makes me miss the area a lot.
  17. You know, Dominator is just a awesome looking coaster. Especially liked a couple of the wide shots at sunset. Well done.
  18. Something random. Yeah, like that's never been done before!
  19. I like your thinking, but God help us all. Still, I wouldn't say no to the idea. As for Catwoman, Gretchen Mol (Notorious Bettie Page) would be an interesting choice. They might even be able to put a little Rock-A-Billy spin on the premise. Dita Von Tease would be another unique pin-up choice. Von Tease does have a strong presence and a sultry sophistication/elegance. Mol would do well for facial expressions and body movements (ala Betty) and has a solid presence. Either lady could do quite well. Ahh, but there is a third option. Our very own witty and creative Diablo Cody. She could add just the right amount of humor and 'tude (two of her strong points) to the role. She also has a good presence. Yes folks it's another addition of "Fantasy Movie Casting". Dubious casting couch sold separately. Rising, but nieve starlets not included. Back to topic, for those who haven't, go see The Dark Knight.
  20. Your trip to Dayton/Cincinatti area brought back some great memories when our family lived there (83-86) Enjoyed seeing the Wright Patt and the Air Force Museum, as well as KI. Drunken Duck is great! Oh did I ever howl at that one! Did you know that the famous "Hanger 18" where the Roswell aliens/debris were allegedly stored was there at Wright Patt? Supposedly, it's all still there under deadly force guard. Well, that's the last I heard anyway. Also, if you love pizza (and haven't had any already) Casano's in Dayton and Marion's in Centerville are two great places. Our family always gets the Marion's credit while in town. Great TR!
  21. Two words: Front Page. Seriously, great stuff. Agree with you on the awesome detail/thememing. Enjoyed the pun-ishment too.
  22. You know, I really like Steel Hawg's trains. Just a cool shape to them. Good report too.
  23. Agreed. Kinda takes the zing out of the old Easy Mac. Even my coworker was saying how great Aunt Grannie's was on his recent family trip. (Looks at box of Wonka Bottlecaps and cheeseburger flavored Pringles) *sigh*
  24. My current avatar is a pic taken by spaceace12 during a 2008 trip to Six Flags St. Louis. Why? SFStL was my first real theme park and Thunder River was my very first rapids. Both are special to me. BIG thank you to spaceace12 for such a kind gesture.
