Gigantonomous [NL]

Nice layout and great looking woodie. BiCoastal Kid - I got NL 1.6 on Sat but i'm finding it so technical to get the track straight, curve properly, adjust the height, just about everything really. Do you have to know about forces and engineering, I only work in PC IT, I have never used a computer program which uses Wire-frames. What is the best / easy way of creating a good coaster..? I might stick with RCT3, No Limits does look a very good program though. -

Great pic's shame about the "Flyer Comet" being "razed". A near-by park could of bought the coaster and saved it. Did you put that straight bit of track into your 4x4 -

I have just purchased "No Limits" Roller Coaster Software, it looks quite difficult to get your coaster up and running. Is it easy to use or do you need to know about Structural engineering design, e.g. stress point of wood, differnet angles. I've only used RCT3 to design coasters. Anyone know any good usefull websites..? -

I have not been on it since it opened, it was smooth then but lacks any speed. Great section of "on your back" "Air" does it's job of being a family "flying" cosater. -

Glad this "Classic" Schwarzkopf has made the trip to the UK, I hope this helps the park get more people in. -
Is this a coaster?
verticalzero replied to philcoaster83's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I would say "yes" it does count as a "coaster", it has a lift hill / ski lift and gravity allows you to travel along the circuit. -
SFNO/Jazzland Discussion Thread
verticalzero replied to SharkTums's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I would of thought most of the water had drained away by now, was the park build on re-claimed land or just in a swamp..? It does look like the park will not open for some years and depends on what Six Flags want to do with the site and rides. It's very sad for coasters to be SBNO at a young age. -
Quick question.
verticalzero replied to thrillrideseeker's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I would call it an inversion, your legs are above your head and your upside down for a milli-sec. Another good one is "Goliath" at Walibi World, this has a "Stengel Dive" simular type of element.
