  1. ^ Hey, what about me? Anyway, I really like this park, and you even have the park map grammatically correct! It has a really nice feel to it. Anyway, the park seems rather small, are you going to add any more rides?
  2. *Crawls in even deeper hole in the ground, goes into fetal position and rocks back and forth, crying from fear.* -Tanks "The Title Fairy will probably end up giving me a title that pokes fun at me at not reading posts" 4me05.
  3. I'm just curious, and for the record, I looked through the last two or three pages of Robb's posts, and that's where I got the "two weeks thing" from - I guess I didn't read the right post. *Crawls in small hole in the ground, cowering in fear.*
  4. Daaang, for something that small, it looks like it pulls some pretty serious G's and airtime! It looks like a mini SFNE S:ROS/Maverick.
  5. So, it's been 20 days since you said that you would start posting the finalists in about two weeks. Not to be mean or rude or anything like that, I just like numbers... alot. Anyway, I fully realize that you two are really busy, but I was wondering, how many of the videos have you judged? Can you give another estimate as to approximately when the finalists will be posted? (Heck, do you have specific comments for any of us?)
  6. Version 1.7 has a direct video export ability. I would prefer to join.
  7. Try to make a different element then. Besides, it is too tight - if you look there, the trains bump into each other by about a good 3 - 4 inches or so (stupid "C" key on my keyboard is getting stuck now I have to press it really hard to get it to work) therefore the train will either get stuck or just have a violent stop and fall bakwards, or even the wheel assemblies could break, and the train would fall off the track, and it looks like the train is over 100 feet above ground, and that would be bad for the riders. If you can't make anything G friendly without running out of room, I would suggest that either A: someone moves the entire ride farhter away from the map or B: the person that went before you should hange their element to make everything fit better.
  8. Red G's are 5.5 vertical, -2.0 airtime, and 2.0 +/- lateral. Although, I would allow anything up to 6.3 Vertials if INTENTIONALLY BUILT ONLY - as a roller oaster in South Africa's Gold Reef City has one. (Tower of Terror.)
  9. Directly above the submit button when you reply lies the Add Photo, Video or other Attatchment section. Directly under this section's title is the Filename section. Click the "Browse..." button on the far right of this section to locate your park file to upload it, but first I would suggest that you would use your computer's search engine to find where your park is, so you can place it on your computer's desktop to make it easier to find it. Then the file will be available for anyone to download.
  10. Hmm, why not someone just add their name to a list in the NL Track Info page thing? That's what WWS did. Anyway, I'm in.
  11. I really like this park, especially for your inexperience. But I would like to say thet possibly using the "corner inner" pieces from Aceana's Pavement ESSENTIALS (the rounded pieces) would make it look a bit better, the paths seem too "blocky."
  12. Technically, it isn't a Mega Coaster - rcdb lists it as an Intamin Mega-Lite. (It took me a few seconds to understand why they called it that.) But I agree, with rides like MF and SFNE's S:ROS, I don't understand why these aren't made more often.
  13. Every weekend in March, except for the one just prior to Spring Break. That's usually when they host some sort of cheerleading competition, so I'd avoid it on those days unless your thing is tons of 12 year old girls. I wish I could've gone, but no car=no SFoG. Going both days next weekend though. And as for the friendly staff, that is only there for the first month or so. After employees start working double shifts and overtime over Spring Break (in addition to the weather going from 60s to the 90s), the quality of service drops completely off. It's nice at the beginning of the year though... Hmm, every weekend in March, eh? How about week days? I was thinking of giving myself a flight down to SFOG for a birthday present when I'm in college or later. I always wanted to go to a park on my birthday, but the snow drifts reach half way up Predator's lift. (March 23 - this year it's on easter, but I'm Jewish, so it doesn't matter. ) -Tanks "Joey's not the only jew on here" 4me05.
  14. Wow. I'm not sure how much snow Belgium gets, but I assume that it gets about as cold as over where I live. September, October, and maybe some November are the days we go outside, (although we did have a few relatively warm days in December so we went outside then) but then we stop completely until around the end of March or sometime in April when it regularly reaches about 50 degrees Fahrenheit - about 15 - 18 degrees Celsius.
  15. Daaaaaaaaaang, a shooting range? I would DEFINITELY love to go to Aquaria. It looks like the mid east is picking up in some extra good parks. If they had an FN P90 available.... oh dang, I will just melt in excitement. Even better yet, this baby: http://img160.imageshack.us/img160/6044/g11gh5.jpg Too bad that the German Military cancelled using it after the fall of the Berlin Wall. It's a pretty rare gun. Anyway, what happened to the looping coaster? Also, a couple of other questions: FLIPDUDE, how safe are Kuwait, Lebanon, and Israel if I were to make a Mid East trip? (like what, 20, 25 years from now - I know a long ways away, as I'm only 14, but I want to go there some day.) I know the UAE is safe, so I'm definitely going there, but all you really hear about on a regular basis over in the US is just Iraq, not the other countries, so I'm just wondering. I'm NOT tryng to stereotype the mid east as a complete terrorist land, I know there are several countries that are actually quite safe, like the UAE for example, I just want to know if the other countries are good, just making sure, you know?
  16. ^^ But exactly how many people are going to train and be proffessional athletes when they are older? Sure you would probably say how many people are going to be lawyers when they are older - but there are a heck of a lot more lawyers (and most other jobs actuallly) than there are Athletes. I see school is one that focuses on academic capabilities, and although I know that physical prowess should be stressed especially in America, but there can be several circumstances in which the child can't preform well, be it any medical condition requiring that student to do so. I see Gym not as a class to get an actual grade in (although the free 100 average is really nice) but simply more of an area for excersize, to keep us fatties in shape. (Although I am not one who is overweight) Sure, 40 minutes isn't a lot of time to do pphysical activity, and the sheer size of our Gym classes limit the amount of time each student gets to actually do stuff (The kids nearing the back half of the line to kick in Kick Ball don't kick at all - my gym class is around 40 - and that's not counting the girls in the other side of the gym.) There are a lot of problems in which Gym is set up in America, but if the students were graded on how good they were in sports, I could say that for this reason, the Honors Society size would probably go down from almost 300 to probably about 50 - 100. These are students with an overall average of 90 and no grades below an 85. Having well over half of the kids kicked out just for poor sports preformance (me being one of them for most of it) would be a bad idea. Besides, quite a few of the people who don't do sports really well are freaking smart, and I think I could be considered one of them, so that would be quite unfair to those who have a higher intelligence/achievability in school. Besides, I'm actually pretty strong and physically fit, I just can't play sports really well. (I can't run long distances, though.)
  17. ^ Ouch. They still grade people like that in the US? Thank god, because instead of a straight 100 average, I would probably have a 65 - 75 in gym, therefore making it impossible to stay in Honors Society for where I am. (90 or above average with no grades below 85. Once you get a grade below an 85, you have one quarter to get it above 85, and you can't participate in any other activities in that quarter, so if you get an 84 or lower in any of your grades in the third quarter, you don't get to go to Darien Lake.)
  18. ^His earlier pics had a little too many rocks, but now I think it's fine.
  19. I think this park is pretty nice. I think due to the height of Tokyo Drift's station, the simple walls look rather bland. I suggest you add a little extra to its sides to make it look better. But, I will give extra kudos due to the fact that you used that type of coaster - very few people had seemed to use that ride. Since my Adventure Gardens is aimed towards having exotic rides, it was a good idea to use that as a Family Coaster. -Tanks "thanks for the idea" 4me05.
  20. I have not the slightest idea of how path covers affect the lag, because my computer requirements are crap. My park is starting to lag already. I'm pretty sure that rides are more of an issue in a park than scenery. Although a crap load of trees will probably affect the lag, other than that, I think you should be fine. I think you should add a B&M coaster with a Hulk style launch, I haven't seen one of those in a while.
  21. I'm not too much of a sports fan, although I have been taking Karate (Okinawa Goju Ryu - pronounced "Go Zhoo Roo") for the past 5 years. The ranking system is White Belt, then Yellow, Orange, Purple, Green, Blue, Brown, then Black. (Ten "degrees" on Black Belt - each one takes several years to get up to - first degree is when you get your black belt - I'm a green belt, soon to be blue belt.) And I'm in Marching Band as well. That's just in the summer because I live in Baldwinsville, NY - suburb of the infamous for snow Syracuse, NY, but with a (Brass, not the crappy sounding Fiberglass) Sousaphone on one shoulder for three hours a night, with 3 times a week in Summer, twice a week during School (until the end of October) and a show every Saturday for the final 8 weeks of the season (the Championships are on a Sunday) as well a large out of state trip, I get A LOT of hours, and that thing is heavy! So, yeah, although I don't do sports, I still get excersize. So, I really don't like gym all that much, although I'm actually pretty good in Kick Ball. And there are some VERY hot girls in my gym class.
  22. Well, if you want better roofs, take a look at my Adventure Gardens - I know the architectural styling is COMPLETELY different than that of what you are making, it should give you some good ideas. http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=32214&highlight=adventure+gardens EDIT: I took a second look at your buildings, and yeah, the roofs really are flat. Just make sure you don't forget the path coverings and more tree styles. I see you used some extra trees, but try to have at least 4 - 6 different types. you might be able to get away with more, but you could run the danger of making the park look a little random.
  23. Well, if anything, their Drop Tower was really good. It had a freaking huge amount of airtime compared to the other Drop Towers I have been on. (DP, LC, good ToT, Dr. Doom's Fearfall, SFNE, Ny State Fair, Seabreeze - junior drop tower, and probably some more others I can't remember.)
  24. Wow. I have already gone to the park three times and I still forget that it gets light crowds during the week. I guess I just had a brain fart.
  25. Had you been an experienced RCT3 park designer, this would be very nice. but since you are a beginner, I simply lack the ability to facilitate a suitable phrase, word or sentence to reflect upon how much skill that you have while lacking experience.
