I'm glad to see that Kennywood this year really fixed up their Turtle. It seems to make a lot less noise and it gives you a lot smoother ride.

I was there yesterday also, I had a great time even though it rained most of te day, and the Exterminator was not opperating for some reason. I managed to get at least 3 rides on the other 4 coasters though. A lot of the rides seemed to be down King Kahuna, Exterminator, the Phantom was down for a while when the park opened, and the Jackrabbit was down for a good bit also. I was on the Auto Race and the cars kept cutting on and off because of the rain and bad electral connections.

I feel dumb asking this, but is the coaster going to open by August?

I should be there tomorrow, it's supposed to rain, but I really don't care anymore.

Cedar point- rain policy, rides being down. Lakemont- running only 1 car on Leap the Dips, having huge empty spaces everywhere.

I was planning on going back to Lakemont this season and go to DelGrossos for the first time to ride the Revolution, but without the Revolution, I most likely won't go to either park this season. I was at Lakemont last season and Leap the Dips and the Skyliner were in very poor shape, espacially Leap the Dips. They really need to rehab these coasters. It is a very cute park. I drove past there last October, but decided not to waste $20+ to get in. One thing that struck me is how small their parking lot is. I hate the paint job on the Kingdom Caoster.

I was at Dorney back in '98 but I don't remember much other than Kiddieland and the Hercules. Why wasn't the Laser operating?

This is a real problem. I was there 2 years ago and almost every major coaster was down at some point for the 3 days I was there. Last year, I woke up and rode the Maverik at about 9:30 (I only waited 30 minutes) and about 15 munites after I rode it it broke down for the rest of the day and part of the next day. This is also a problem at Hersheypark with the Storm Runner. It broke down and they kept saying they were going to reopen it, but they never did and I didn't get to ride it.

^Yah I hope to visit this park at some point in the next 4 years.

I know that an ACE member from Erie PA has the Wild Mouse coaster from Conneaut Lake Park that he purchesed from auction in parts in his backyard. I have from Conneaut Lake Park some peices of wood fropm the Blue Streak, some bolts from the Tumble Bug, some working light bulbs, and some burnt pieces of wood from the Dreamland Ballroom all of these things I picked up off the ground.

Kennywood has been having very terrible weather. I had planned to go on the 3rd, but it rained all day so I planned to go yesterday, it rained, and today, it's still raining. My plan is to go next Saturday, and if it rains I'm going to go crazy.

I was at PKI on memorial day in 2004 and at CP on memorial day in 2005, and the crowds weren't bad.

Cool, I may head there this summer, but I'm not sure.

Why aren't any of the flat rides or Sea Dragon mentioned on their site? Also, what flat rides will be there?

I was going to go there today, but it rained all morning and it let up around 2, and it just begun raining again. I guess i'll go next weekend sometime.

I think Coney Island should purchese the Screechin' Eagle from the nearby LeSourdsville Lake/Americana Park and attempt to rebuild it there. The coaster will most likely need work after not operating for 6 years now.

I know Kennywod's used to do this, but it hasn't for about 15 years I want to say now.

I live near Pittsburgh PA, and the average price I have been seeing was 3.59. That is apperently low compared to other prices I have been hearing of.

Hershey's Lightning Racer, WAY back in October, this weekend I plan on heading to Kennywood, weather permitting.

Is there any time when the park isn't crowded, and also, how do the flash passes work?
