Conneaut Lake Park had one during their Haunted Park event, and it was very rough, and did go faster than a normal scrambler.

I would like to go to Midway Park, which is on the shores of Lake Chautauqua New York, I drove past there recently, and it seems like a cool place. It's one of those small lakeside parks that you don't find much nowadays. There is not very much on it online either. Another small park I would like to visit is Camden Park in West Virginia. It has 2 wooden coasters, and several old rides. If anyone has and info. on any of these 2 parks, espically Midway, I'd appreciate it.

Dosn't South Dakota have a small kiddie coaster?

So sad, one of the most insane kiddie coasters I've ever ridden. At least I got to ride it before it was removed.

They now are beginning to put the new track down the first hill of the Phantom.

The best books I've read are by Jim Futrell, and they are: Amusment Parks of Pennsylvania Amusment Parks of New York Amusment Parks of New Jersey Amusment Parks of Virginia, Maryland & Delaware These books contain intersting infromation as well as loads of photos and they talk about just about every amusment park that has ever operated in the state or states the book is written on.

I drove past the park the other day, and the Wipeout is gone. Looks like the Bayren Kurve will be being re-assembles soon.

I just drove past Kennywood today, they have removed the flat of track section between the first two drops, as well as about a third of the first drop of the Phantom.

That was actually pretty funny, but sad at the same time.

The finances of the park are recovering now, sience they leased the hotel, Beach Club, and various other properties to outside investors. They said it would bring in a substantial ammount of money. They also mentioned somthing about rides being restored. This is the 3rd time now that the Blue Streak has dodged the wrecking ball.

I heard those markings were for some sort of new que lines thay will be installing next season.

The 'old favorite' would be the Baryn Kurve. The Wipeout is almost completly removed and it is roumored the Baryn Kurve may return to its former spot.

Thanks for the pics, I wanted to visit there this past summer, but I didn't have time, mabye next year.

Rolling Thunder

I have to say, Ghost Lake is a HUGE success. It is ine of the best haunted attractione I've ever been to. They had lines this past Saturday 2+ hours long to get in all night. If they get crowds like that every week, they could wind up with some serious $$$ to open next season.
