Drachen Fire I only rode it once in 1993 and I definitely had a headache after riding it but I liked it anyway. I also never rode it after they removed that corkscrew.

I hate how the animals end up paying the price for human negligence as the crocodile was shot. This happened recently in my town where a kid at a local park in Richmond got loose from his parents and entered a fenced off area for bears. Of course, the kid was bitten by a bear and the animal was put down.

Awww--looks like you guys had a boatload of fun. I would have gone but I had transportation difficulties (drinking and driving will do that to you). Looks like I still wouldn't have been able to get the JJ credit though.

How sad is it that my main reason for losing weight is not to be healthy and look good but so I can ride MF (and other Intamins)...

I'm still going for this credit come hell or high water...

I think that might be some old concept art which may or may not relevant to what's actually going to to go up. It sounds like the B&M is going to be kind of like Hollywood Dream at Universal Japan. Whatever it turns out to be, I know where I'll be headed to in '08!

I've probably told this story before but I think it bears repeating in this thread. I went to SFA last summer and one of my main reasons for going was to ride Superman. I'm 6'2" and pretty large. After a few attempts at riding I was turned away because the T-Bar couldn't get to the second click. I finally took off my shoes and was able to make it. Jammed the hell out of my legs, but made it. I was never flagged while waiting in line by an op though.

Well, I've been pretty bad since I first commented in this thread a few months ago. I thought I had topped out at 300 around X-mas time. I weighed myself Sunday and I was at 316 and I'm supposed to run a 10k on Saturday. My goals: To be able to fit on Griffon when it opens. To be able to fit on CP's Intamins by the end of the summer. Overall--to lose around 100 pounds. My weight loss plan: Meal replacement bars and shakes (Met-RX and Myoplex) Lean meats--turkey, fish, beef, chicken Carbs--yogurt, wheat bread, fruits, oatmeal, Kashi, small portions of pasta Vegetables--salads, V8 8-10 glasses of water Try to eat around 5-6 times a day with small portions. Exercise: Running/cardio 3 times a week Lifting weights 3 times a week to start, then 4 times a week

I know the reputation this park has but judging from some of these pictures this park looks excellent. I can't wait to get there some day. I may be jaded by my repeated viewings of Vacation though.
