Dag! I've only ridden two coasters in the top 50 and none in the top 35. A TPR trip should be in my future, but it isn't. Trips to Hershey, Knoebels, and Great Adventure in '08 should help that out though.

I'll hit the usual KD and BGE. Beyond that I'm not sure. I have a cousin who's getting married in Miami next year so I'll try to hit Dania Beach Hurricane and maybe BGA and some Orlando parks. Other parks might include: SFA Hershey Knoebels Kennywood SFGAdv SFNE Lake Compunce Dollywood Kings Island Cedar Point

I still haven't ridden a woodie that was built in the 2000's. I did get on a couple of really old ones this year, CI Cyclone and Thunderhawk. Both made my top 5 (just to give you an idea about how lacking my wooden track record is).

I'm with PKD. KD really needs a new ride and this fits the bill. Never made it to Geauga Lake so it's new to me. There's nothing quite like Dominator in the region (BGE, SFA, HP) so I think this is a good choice.

I've only been to Walt Disney World. I went in 1984 on a spring break family vacation, so it was my parents' decision. I grew up in Virginia.

I'm not a huge water ride fan (I skipped the rapids rides at Carowinds, SFoG, AK, and Dorney) but out of the three I've ridden (White Water Canyon-KD, Roman Rapids-BGE, and Bilge Rats Barges-IoA) I gotta go with Popeye!

850 riders per hour? Yikes! Looks like a fun ride though. If I don't make it to Hershey this year I'm definitely going to go next year.

I sometimes wonder why Six Flags didn't include America in the deal to sell off those parks. I guess it would have brought the sale price up but it seems like SFA is really being neglected.

Would it be possible for Maverick to operate with a lap bar? Would they have to modify any other part of the layout? Enjoyable TR, by the way.

Sheesh--it was the same 3 people in all those pics.

I don't know about you but my legs are constantly turning purple on B&M's. It's my little cross to bear.

Hydra at Dorney this past Saturday (first trip to Dorney) I thought it was pretty fun but I could definitely see where the complaints about it being forceless are coming from.

Do I just take for granted all the Waffle Houses around me? I only go there when I'm drunk and it's 3am in the morning.

I think the ride looks like it might be a good one. Goliath (SFoG) and Apollo's Chariot are the only two B&M hypers I've ridden so it's always good to see more chances to ride a new one. I'm not making any judgements on the seating arrangement until I hear first-hand accounts (or ride them myself).

It says the coaster's been in the planning stages for 18 months---before CF bought the Paramount Parks.

East coast trip it is for me. I hear not everybody even speaks English in Europe.

^ I was actually surprised at the thought of you two running 5 TPR trips in one calendar year. Don't spread yourselves too thin! I'd love to meet up with you guys at KD and BGE if I can't do any of the other trips. I've been to those parks so often and on dead days that ERT wouldn't be missed by me. Hopefully KD will have a new really good coaster to offer (even if I think it'll be GL's Dominator).

I'd rather have an Intamin Mega than a B&M. The last one of those to open was 4 years ago. The last one in the US was 7 years ago. Bring on an Expedition Geforce clone to the US so I can decide if R&E are truly on the level!

Argghh--looks like the best I may be able to is the Texas trip. Really wanted to go on that Europe trip. I take it that the Southern Cal trip won't happen in 2008?
