What was your first B&M Coaster?

My first was Alpengeist. I was terrified. Never wanted to ride a roller coaster again, but I came around. lol -

Which Coaster Gives The Best AIRTIME???

I have to say Skyrush. Pretty much all of those hills are just unbelievable. I have never experienced an out of control feeling before like on that ride. Those restraints really intensify that feeling of being ejected from the train. -

Oh wow, that looks incredible. What is the element after the first launch? Large corkscrew? Inverted top hat? -

Really? Show me a US park that has managed to have THIS MANY brand new coasters open in either March or April. We are LUCKY if a park's new coaster opens for Memorial Day weekend (end of May), and most of them seem to open sometime in June or early July. So stop your bitching. --Robb That's not my problem son! I dont give a danm about the US, Why state a date for a ride to be open when there is high chance of not reaching that date? Like I say typical towers shoddy marketing of which there always guilty off just look at thirteen the ultimate coaster you will ever ride hmmmm I think not! "grumble grumble. I hate that my park is getting a new world record holding coaster and they aren't working on it fast enough to please ME! How inconsiderate of them..." Seriously people, grow up. You're getting something awesome so be happy. Learn some patience. -
I can't see this happening in the same parks that are already being taken over by HP. Just to much much wizardry and magic. This would need a pretty sizable footprint if brought to fruition. Now if they wanted to do Battlestar Galactica, I would be totally down. That is one franchise that needs some love from the US parks.

Why all the screaming, Robb?

All I know is that TPR has the best quality and selection of videos on the internet. You guys put forth an enormous amount of effort in planning these trips, working with the parks and updating the site with damn near up to the minute reports. Blows my mind that some people will still find something to complain about. Keep up the awesome work and have some fun doing it. -

To GCI: With the success of some of the newer "hybrid" wood coasters (ie: Intamin Plug-and-Play, or RMC's Topper track and Iron Horse) have you ever considered trying any type of new construction methods? -

Got my tickets. Super excited! For those of you that have done this event before, do you have any hotel recommendations? Trying to decide between staying close at the Wingate or Econo Lodge....or go down to the next exit and stay at the Courtyard/Springhill. -

The trains remind me somewhat of a B&M Floorless train. -
http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/files/dscn1715_800x600.jpg ^from the looks of this picture (I have never been to SFGAm) why would they need to change the course of the train at all? It should just go straight then still make the large turn after the X-Flights station. It does look like the transfer shed has been notched in accordingly for the trains clearance.
