^ Yeh, themeing it to a Mayan God named Apucha. Apparently one of the god's of death. His color scheme seems to be black and white. So...whatev...I may change it if you have any suggestions. Some new photos. Working on the rapids ride, as well as supporting the floorless. SCR43.BMP SCR42.BMP SCR41.BMP -

I know they have not done it before, but I am trying to think outside of the standard B&M box. I dont want the "normal" B&M elements like Vertical loop, Cobra Roll, or Dive Loop. -

I decided to start working on El Salvador before Okinawa since that is where I currently am. It seems that I have hit a creativity block. I have hashed out maybe 4-5 different types of coasters for this area so far. Here are some screen for my most recent and the best attempt. Please let me know what you think. Any ideas? SCR31.BMP Otherside of Pretzel Loop. SCR32.BMP I also really want to incorperate the Drachen Fire-ish lift and Dive loop. SCR30.BMP I am playing around with a Pretzel loop on a B&M sit-down. -

Decided to post some more screens. SCR29.BMP Rounding out the USA SCR28.BMP Entire park map. To the left is El Salvador, the right is Okinawa, and the back is Sicily feat. MT Etna. SCR27.BMP Covered Bridge to the States SCR25.BMP -
The idea of this park came to me while on deployment. I decided to theme the 4 areas to the places that my NAVY career has taken me so far. As far as the name goes....I decided to stick with Utopia from one of my other parks. To explain the Orion part... I am in a P-3 Orion squadron. Its a maritime patrol aircraft the navy uses to look for ships and subs. I decided on Orion kingdoms because the places in the park are the locations we have deployed to in the past 2 years. The entrance area is going to be the USA. I went with a almost colonial America type approach. Nothing to contemporary. The are 4 rides. A carousel, Tilt-a-Whirl, Route 66 (car ride) and the Riverside Cyclone (Wooden Twister) The next area I plan on working on is Okinawa, JP. Followed by El Salvador, and finnish with Sicily. Here are some screens of USA. I hope you all like. Let me know what you think. Thanks SCR22.BMP Layout of Riverside Cyclone minus scenery. I am not happy with the name and am open to suggestions. SCR19.BMP The entrance. The car ride is Route 66.

[RCT2] Excitement Point

I agree with the Batman coaster. Use larger elements. It wil look better. And I have to say. Coming from a gay guy...Super Hero Village sounds really gay. LOL...maybe Gotham, or Metropolis, something more unique. Something to think about. -

Are you serious? How about you build parks because you like to do so. Not to get praised. IF you want my opinion of your park. It is average at best. The rides are not well thought out. There is no terrain. Scenery is just thrown around, and the trees are extremly repetitive. I am not trying to be rude or mean, but since you are searching so hard for comments Im going to give you one. A honest one. -

This park def. needs some terrain. Create some valleys and hills. Make a River or a lake. It helps to take up space as well as gives you some great thematic elements to use in your rides. The flying coaster needs some character. Something unique. At the moment it looks bland. I like the theming of the park overall. Just make sure it does not get monotonous. -

I agree that the second hill on the Vekoma is just plain strange. Smooth it out. Maybe have interlocking corkscrews or consecutive corkscrews to give it more of the GASM feel. I have to disagree on the second comment. I like parks that use up the space well. It seems like you are doing that. The only problem I see is that you may run out of rides and ideas and still have a large space to fill. I have that problem myself. Otherwise, it looks fantastic. Keep up the good work. Look forward to seeing more. -

I can not get over how amazing that new paint job on Dominator looks. Wow. I think that may be the best color scheme on any B&M. -

Ok, so I leave in 4 days for Tokyo. Couple final questions. How crowded are the parks this time of year? Should I expect crazy amounts of people? At the parks I plan on going to(Tobu, DisneySea, LaQua), what are the backpack rules/laws? Any last minute tips or advice? Thanks again for all of your help. I will being taking many photos for you. Hopefully my pics can live up to the prestige of this site.

Wow, thanks. That hotel looks amazing and relatively inexpensive.

I think I have narrowed it down to a day at DisneySea, then Tobu Zoo, and La Qua. Are all these parks open year round? I know you guys have spent quite a bit of time in tokyo on various trips. Do you have any particular hotels that you would recommend?
