pkdcoaster Posted March 26, 2010 Posted March 26, 2010 Went by the park tonight. they were running it at around 9:00 (seemed like only one train though) The lift hill slows down alot once the train reaches the top lift is louder than I thought it would be but it might not sound so loud when there are people in the park. Enjoy, JEFF plain pic from Denny's The red lights do trace up the lift The train is on the lift (you can see the streak) 1 more week
angryemobeaver Posted March 26, 2010 Posted March 26, 2010 Wow, thank you so much for those photos! I can not wait til' next Friday! Hopefully I'll get a few night rides in, it looks so awesome with those lights!
Capitalize Posted March 26, 2010 Posted March 26, 2010 Absolutely beautiful ride. This seriously might be the absolute coolest looking coaster ever, imo.
downunder Posted March 26, 2010 Posted March 26, 2010 Great night shots, it does look very impressive, I'm looking forward to seeing first riders reactions in a very short time.
JEAPUgrad Posted March 26, 2010 Posted March 26, 2010 I hope the lift hill lights will be off at night...we'll find out at the Nightime ERT event on May 1st!
Capitalize Posted March 26, 2010 Posted March 26, 2010 I hope the lift hill lights will be off at night...we'll find out at the Nightime ERT event on May 1st! When else would lift lights be on? During the day?
TheScooterGuy Posted March 26, 2010 Posted March 26, 2010 If Intimidator 305 opens on April Fool's day ( ) and we try to view a YouTube video of it's opening, it would redirect us into the RickRolled video!

During the day? Gee thanks, Mr. Smartie Pants... Hey they could be left on during the day...you never know... lol
Capitalize Posted March 26, 2010 Posted March 26, 2010 I know what you mean about wanting it be as dark as possible, though. I think it will be a good night ride, there isn't very many rides or paths out there, so it should be pretty dark.
robbalvey Posted March 27, 2010 Author Posted March 27, 2010 Is anyone planning on going out for opening day? If you go for opening weekend and wear a TPR or Club TPR shirt. Post a picture with you in your TPR shirt in front of Intimidator 305 and I'll send you a bag of crap! --Robb
pianojohn Posted March 27, 2010 Posted March 27, 2010 I'll be there April 7,8,or 9th depending on weather and try to get as many shots as I can! On the other days I will finally get my Griffon credit! Woohoo!
Homeboy23 Posted March 28, 2010 Posted March 28, 2010 ^^ I'll be there around noon on Friday to get in a ride or two and take many pictures. Can't leave work until 11 that morning, hopefully I will remember to bring my shirt with me.

How about I hold a piece of paper saying TPR? Will that work?
B-RadG Posted March 28, 2010 Posted March 28, 2010 I will be there all day April 2nd, and hopefully I'll have my Club TPR shirt by then. I just realized that there's less than a week until this monster opens.
jbarner14 Posted March 28, 2010 Posted March 28, 2010 I'll be there on the third. I guess I'll miss out on a bag of crap. Oh, well. Riding Intimidator 305 should make up for it.
animalfarm2006 Posted March 28, 2010 Posted March 28, 2010 I'll be there with my nephew. I already warned him that the moment they start letting us in, I am going to be sprinting towards the new ride. I want to be on one of the first trains to be let out for the public. Which will be that day too right? I'll also be there sunday with the family.
Skycoastin Steve Posted March 28, 2010 Posted March 28, 2010 I'll be with someone who has a TPR shirt, will that be good enough?
eddie200330 Posted March 29, 2010 Posted March 29, 2010 I'll be there with my nephew. I already warned him that the moment they start letting us in, I am going to be sprinting towards the new ride. Just don't try to sprint past security, I have seen them pull people and make them wait until everyone else goes by. They "walk" everyone to the back of the park usually for Volcano, so I see this as being no different.

Post a picture with you in your TPR shirt in front of Intimidator 305 and I'll send you a bag of crap! --Robb I might drive up there after work on Friday April 2nd. If I wear my TPR Texas shirt and have a Talking BBQ Fork, do I get extra crap in my bag? If anyone's willing to meet up on that Friday PM me. Most of my friends don't really care about coasters.
carolinacaniac Posted March 29, 2010 Posted March 29, 2010 TALKING BBQ FORK!!!!!!!! I forgot about that! Wasn't that at Fiesta Texas? -Gary T.
pkdcoaster Posted March 29, 2010 Posted March 29, 2010 Clint posted a sick teaser video that has clips of a real POV of I305. (looks intense as hell) maybe we will get to see the whole thing before Thursday. only 4 days left!!!! JEFF
animalfarm2006 Posted March 29, 2010 Posted March 29, 2010 I don't mind meeting up with some coaster fans. I'm leaving at 8:00 to hopefully get their at 9:00. Yall want to get a group together at the entrance? I'll list my # so we can text etc. My speaker on it is broken, and I spent my money on 1. sick ferret. 2. Coaster Lovin
redfoot12 Posted March 29, 2010 Posted March 29, 2010 If I make it up there on Friday it won't be until around 6 pm or so. I just want to process my pass and sneak in a ride or two.
