Here are some neat photos that I just shot yesterday, using a Nikon D90. I think that these five were shot using manual mode (the daisy was for sure), but I don't remember. Play nice, I'm a newbie.

Some pictures from Sunday at Canada's Wonderland (only of Leviathan and Behemoth though)

This first one is a panoramic at around 7500 pixel across. Click on it and view at full size to really 'enjoy' it... The rest are normal.

Any of you guys hang out on Tumblr a lot like I do and follow roller coaster blogs and tags, you might have seen a few of my photos circulate before. I've also used my fisheye a frighteningly amount of times (and don't recommend it as the use of a standard lens for your camera).

If interested, you can find more on my Flikr account, Deviant art account, or whenever I post new ones on Tumblr.

I've been dabbling in HDR photography and stumbled upon the 'pseudo HDR' technique from a singe RAW image (Also been shooting RAW as of lately). My work is by no means professional or anything but I'm liking what I've pulled off so far.

I call this one the "Golden Blessing" as there was this strange refraction ring around the sun when I took the hardhat tour at CGA. I wanted to get the coaster but wanted to also capture the ring and sunlight. Glad I decided to look into the technique (and continue to learn it). I call it Golden Blessing due to Prowler being known as the Holy Coaster...and since Gold Striker is a GCI at another CF park, we were joking that perhaps it's getting blessed by Prowler

The other one consisted of Medusa at SFDK (no fancy title for this...just experimentation/goofing around). Kind of trippy!

I had used a circular polarizer as well to help bring out the sky and did the single raw pseudo HDR technique to give the sky a deeper pop, bring out the wispy clouds while preserving the nice colors in the foreground.

Another one in which I wanted the sky/wispy clouds to appear yet retain a decent exposure on the foreground and background coasters...

Yup, I'm having too much fun with this. I'm anxious to try out true HDR tomorrow and next weekend out at the park (using the 3 exposures/bracketed exposure settings).

I really wish I could bring my better camera into amusement parks, but I've gotten some great amusement park shots with my Fujifilm Finepix Z. Here are some of my favorites (edited in Photoshop), let me know what you think:

Scream at Six Flags Magic Mountain with a desaturated sky background. First roller coaster photo I was ever actually proud of.

Xcelerator at Knott's. What else can I say?

Gotta love those B&M Inverted rolls.

Riddler's Revenge at SFMM with even more grittiness than you remember it having.

I am the furthest away you can get of any sort of decent photographer, but i just got a new camera and am trying to learn the ropes. here are to photos of mine messing around with shutter speed.

I got some more shots of Silver Bullet processed in Photoshop.

I really wish I had a better camera, they look pretty grainy, but I still like them.

Let me know what you think.

This was taken one week ago today, on the TPR Mexico Tour.

Part of the huge Agave growing farms.

And Agave = Tequila! Which we enjoyed in the town so named, itself!

I liked how the photo composed itself, without much help from myself, heh.

^You know what, I actually really like that second shot of the mechanics of that train. It really shows how complicated they are.

I got one more experimental one of Silver Bullet at Knott's:

Fail or not, this is my attempt at surreal roller coaster photography.
