DATman Posted May 9, 2006 Posted May 9, 2006 ^Yes, it, and every coaster at SFMM but Tatsu and half of Revvy.
CoasterExpert13 Posted May 9, 2006 Posted May 9, 2006 Serial Thriller AKA Thunderhawk at Geauga Lake Just looks poorly placed and a bit rugged...could use better themeing.
CP_RULES Posted May 9, 2006 Posted May 9, 2006 I never did like the looks of the Arrow multi-loopers, they are so high off the ground and they just look weird.
easytoremember Posted May 9, 2006 Posted May 9, 2006 Mindbender at SFOG with its old brown paint. Mind bender pre-gotham city theming
Lord Kotowa Posted May 9, 2006 Author Posted May 9, 2006 Here are some more monstrosities. http://www.rcdb.com/ig2925.htm?picture=4 Aerial Glide there ^ http://www.rcdb.com/ig1412.htm?picture=8 Colossus thar in a mess of supports All SDC Galaxi's!
trustkill22 Posted May 9, 2006 Posted May 9, 2006 I have never liked the looks of the Arrow Multi-loopers because they never made the loops any bigger they just put them higher off the ground to decrease speed. And I would like to add I love any coaster with a blue spine because they look just so pretty in my point of view. Zonga *grggglll* and Shockwave *slobbers over shirt*
Darien Laker Posted May 10, 2006 Posted May 10, 2006 I'd have to say Arrow's larger coaster's were pretty ugly with the loops so high up in the air. It looks right on the smaller ones, but like Shockwave at SFGAm looked awkward with the first loops being so high up.
pkdcoaster Posted May 10, 2006 Posted May 10, 2006 My vote goes to Magnum Why? out of curiousity It amazes me how most 200 foot coasters do not look that tall anymore except Magnum. JEFF
apollo210 Posted May 10, 2006 Posted May 10, 2006 Ultra Twister Before Paint! Batman: The Escape as well before paint. Sorry Astroworld! Go on Coaster Gallery and see for your selfs (I forgot how to make hyperlinks, sorry and I don't have an adress bar).
niiicolaaah Posted May 10, 2006 Posted May 10, 2006 My vote goes to Magnum Why? out of curiousity It amazes me how most 200 foot coasters do not look that tall anymore except Magnum. JEFF The trains remind me of a vacumn cleaner with a windshield attached The tunnels seem kind of random and pointless, resembling a waterslide tube to me. Magnum was the first 200' tall coaster I ever rode, and I enjoyed it. It's just a little random looking to me.
CP_RULES Posted May 10, 2006 Posted May 10, 2006 The trains remind me of a vacumn cleaner with a windshield attached. LMAO! Niclome made a funny! LMAO! Now that you say that, it really does!
Darien Laker Posted May 10, 2006 Posted May 10, 2006 Magnum and the Morgan hypers. I forgot to mention them. I've always thought they seemed kind of awkward looking. They just look so pre-historic compared to the hypers of today, especially Magnum, you can even see it in the track and transitions. They also all have big boxy trains. I really don't think it's a bad thing, they're just older than other hypers, that's all.
jamesdillaman Posted May 10, 2006 Posted May 10, 2006 I would say Shockwave at PKD, although it's not so much "ugly" as bizarre. et tu, Chuck? Actually I know you were referring to the paint job, but I can't help but stick up for my TOGOs no matter what. -James
gunslinger Posted May 10, 2006 Posted May 10, 2006 Blech. It looks like fun, but the whole willy-nilly jumble and the basic design is aesthetically displeasing.
KrakenKing Posted May 10, 2006 Posted May 10, 2006 Volcano has always looked ugly to me. The supports and mountain are just... blah! Thanks RCDB
waterviper Posted May 10, 2006 Posted May 10, 2006 The trains remind me of a vacumn cleaner with a windshield attached I think Magnum and its trains looks like it should be in Japan!!
cfc Posted May 10, 2006 Posted May 10, 2006 I would say Shockwave at PKD, although it's not so much "ugly" as bizarre. et tu, Chuck? Actually I know you were referring to the paint job, but I can't help but stick up for my TOGOs no matter what. -James Well, now that I think about it, Volcano is probably uglier--rather "inelegant" looking at least (if a "blast" to ride--good colors, though). But my experience is rather limited compared to other folks on this site. Chuck
Sparebear75 Posted May 10, 2006 Posted May 10, 2006 The new paint scheme on the Iron Dragon, or in particular, having two red & yellow coasters side by side.
viking86 Posted May 10, 2006 Posted May 10, 2006 Sierra Tonante It looks (and feels) like its about to collapse...
dchamero Posted May 11, 2006 Posted May 11, 2006 This is not only ugly, but also looks really weird.... Screaming Squirrel on China (rcdb)
GAcoaster Posted May 11, 2006 Posted May 11, 2006 All the Hopkins coasters look odd to me, and very home made, but this one is the oddest of them all:
