Lord Kotowa
Is there a roller coaster you think sickens your eyesight, that you never like to see pictures of? Then post pictures of them here, for instance here are some of the ones i hate: Superman- Ride of Steel- Six Flags America http://rcdb.com/ig699.htm?picture=3 Scream! Six Flags Magic Moutain http://rcdb.com/ig2169.htm?picture=19 Superman- Ultimate Flight- Six Flags Great Adventure. http://rcdb.com/ig1976.htm?picture=
FlyingScooter
Gl's Mind Eraser. (or wahtever Gl calls it.) Just never cared for how it was just dropped into that location.
alpengeist04
I would have to say Hurler @ PKD. It's boring, ugly, and it took trees away from the Grizzly. http://www.rcdb.com/ig93.htm?picture=
Spike-UK
Superman is a pretty dull and lacks theming.
cfc
I would say Shockwave at PKD, although it's not so much "ugly" as bizarre. Like someone went nuts with RCT2's "paint" feature.
peteb
Any coaster built on top of a parking lot is ugly. I can't understand making a multi million dollar investment on a coaster with no attempt to remove or even disguise the parking area below. Just cheap and lazy as if the setting doesn't matter. gmr310
My vote goes in for pretty much anything at SF Elitch Gardens, Although I have yet to make it out there this year, I doubt much has changed... The Flying Coaster... (Or the Pain Express...): http://rcdb.com/ig1711.htm?picture=11 Minderaser (Or a clone of a clone of a clone of a clone...) http://rcdb.com/ig422.htm?picture=7 http://robertmoblog.textamerica.com/?r=2825630 Sidewinder http://rcdb.com/ig209.htm?picture=2 Well... thats my $0.
GAcoaster
Most of the COASTERS mentioned here are not ugly...it's only their settings that are. For example, SUF is a clone (or near clone) of SUF at SFOG...most people would agree that the original is a beautiful coaster. The only difference is the terrain and themeing. viking86
That pictures of SUF was taken on opening day. Most coasters will have dirt around them once they are done. Just look at this picture taken 2 years later. Looks much better http://rcdb.com/ig1976.htm?picture=
Swimace
I think that wooden coasters with steel supports are ugly, especially if they're in a really nice area because they clash with their setting. Avalanche and The Rattler don't look that bad because they sort of fit in, but I don't like any of the other ones.

lapseofreason
Gl's Mind Eraser. (or wahtever Gl calls it.)Just never cared for how it was just dropped into that location. Well, yeah, that and the fact that they killed Corkscrew for it. Oh, and I just noticed today, again, how freaking ugly Scream! (SFMM) is. Plus it's starting to fade so that makes it even uglier. pkdcoaster
I would say Shockwave at PKD, although it's not so much "ugly" as bizarre. Shockwave itself is not ugly...it is the hiddeous paint scheme it has and I cannot believe they RE-PAINTED IT the same way this year. Structually Son of Beast is just really sloppy & Ugly looking. the cross beams should be in a straight line but they go all over the place and it looks like a 5 year old balsa wood project. Runner up goes to Rattler (SFFT) JEFF Photo credit: Trevor Sudano wood just goes every which way
cfc
^I was thinking more in terms of Shockwave's paint job, Jeff. The coaster itself is not unnattractive--it would look better in, say, just blue and yellow. But those pastels . . .
waterviper
Shockwave itself is not ugly...it is the hiddeous paint scheme it has and I cannot believe they RE-PAINTED IT the same way this year. So what you are saying here is that if it was painted differently it wouldn't be ugly and that you like the shape of it but not the paint on it? Well I think that Wildfire at Silver Dollar City is buttass ugly with that poopy color!! Not just that but it is called Wildfire so why didnt they make it red orange yellow to simulate a fire! It's location is awesome and to see the track out in the trees like that with the red orange and yellow colors would look awesome! But nope they had to go with the poop color! Lenaapple1974
Batman: The Escape at SFAW pre-paint job:www.rcdb.com/ig53.htm?picture=1 yeah...that is pretty ugly! I am not sure any coaster I could pick would beat that. However...Viper, when it was not being used in SFGA was just an eyesore! credit to dm from rcdb.com
Blue0ctane
http://www.rcdb.com/ig1174.htm?picture=4 I don't care for the white wood very much. There was a picture in an old roller coaster book that was extremely rancid.

Lenaapple1974
That actually looks kind of cool.....but I like those circular rides (big thunder, space mtn...etc)
apollo210
Its never the design of the track or supports that make the coaster ugly. Its the paint. I've never seen an ugly coastr in real life, but the Lincoln Park Comet looks ugly because its rotting. I WISH THAT ALL PARK WERE KEPT ALIVE! So what you are saying here is that if it was painted differently it wouldn't be ugly and that you like the shape of it but not the paint on it? Yes...I liked its old paint job ALOT better (see pic) when it was fresh it was nice looking and a good centerpiece for PKD (I heard from a manager the year they painted it like this, 2000 I believe, It is supposed to be a visual backdrop for the Kidzville area....made no sense to me) Dark Blue spine & track with yellow rails looked MUCH better, and I was pretty sure that is what Chuck was talking about (the paint job) JEFF Much better
ShoubraStreet74
I've always thought that Millennium Rollercoaster at Fantasy Island looks horrible. Mostly a combination of almost no trees and what I think are really ugly colors. http://www.rcdb.com/ig843.htm?picture=
