I had to come back to England for more "work stuff" so while I went to work, Elissa and Non-German Tom went to play! Check out photos of their new dark ride "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" (rumor has it that Toyland Tours was MUCH better) and finally we now have pics of Rita, Spinball Whizzer, and more! Damien666 Posted April 6, 2006 Posted April 6, 2006 Nice TR! It's a bummer that C.A.T.C.F is not as good as TT. I think people expected too much for it. I've heard rumors that BubbleWorks is now not as good as it was now! So I take it Hex is the best darkride at AT? It sure looks like it.

If you think about the drop that was on drachen fire at BGW that is all that is happening on the initial drop of Nemesis. After that inversion (I think it is a wing-over) you carry on downwards in a helix accelerating all the way. The lowest point of the ride is not till later still. Air is sadly not as awsome. Some of the elements are fun but it is just to damb slow and dull. Plus the restaints give me muchos asthma attacks

But are you sure it's blood? Perhaps someone gave Nemesis a "nice Hawaiian Punch." I'm looking forward to Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, actually--the book was my "Harry Potter" when I was a kid.

Im gonna be taking loads of photos and video. I cant believe im gonna be there a few days after you were there! anyways looked like it was quiet. Hope its like that next week but i doubt it with all the little kiddies being out of school. Pat

IMO, Air spends WAY too much time on your back to be a "flyer" --Robb You are correct but the laying on your back part isn't bad though as it seems to be the only spot on the ride you get any intensity. Although I havn't been on it for 2 years now so it might of changed a bit.
