chaos Posted March 31, 2006 Posted March 31, 2006 My mom is leting me skip school so I can go! I'll probably be the youngest one there.
socalMAN123 Posted March 31, 2006 Posted March 31, 2006 ^ I hate you. Lucky fool. Brent "comon dad, it's just one day!" Shenton
sixflagsmagicmountain Posted March 31, 2006 Posted March 31, 2006 My mom is letting me skip school too. It's gonna be fun!
ParkTrips Posted March 31, 2006 Posted March 31, 2006 How come anyone of any age can get a plane ticket but you have to be 25 to rent a car or get a hotel room? Â As a 19 year old I feel the same. Â I've never had a problem finding a hotel that I can stay at - SOME are min. 21 but that's been a rarity for me. I'm still looking for CA Car Rental law because some states won't allow companies to forbid 18+'s from renting. Now, does that mean that they won't tax you out the ass? No, but if you're interested in splitting the car shoot me a message. Â Last time I rented a car, I used the ACE code and managed to avoid under 25 fees (yipee!). One of the few really sweet benefits is the corporate code for Enteprise 8) Â - Joe
SLUSHIE Posted March 31, 2006 Posted March 31, 2006 If only spring break were 2 weeks later. Â I was planning on possibly heading down to LA with a few friends and possibly stopping by SFMM, to bad Tatsu won't be open yet.
colossus Posted March 31, 2006 Posted March 31, 2006 i might be going not 100% sure about it. my mom said i can skip school i just have to convince her come. Â chris"why cant robb & elissa be my parents"-o
man Posted March 31, 2006 Posted March 31, 2006 SLUSHIE I have to agree cause im in SF. Hopefully my mom lets me skip school on thursday and go im tired of doing the hallocaust for like the 3000 time (yes I am jewish) All I have to do is get my grades up wich is going to be hard.   edit: crap you have to be in a coaster club damn now I cant go  edit 2: my mom might acctually pay for a 1 year ace membership shor me.
chaos Posted March 31, 2006 Posted March 31, 2006 Keep trying to convince your parents. As soon as I got the ACE email Sunday, my mom told me I couldn't go, but I convinced her.
Angry_Gumball Posted March 31, 2006 Posted March 31, 2006 As much as I doubt I'd make it due to school and stuff, I'll have to ask my friend about this as he's somewhat into riding coasters...but not as much as me.
colossus Posted March 31, 2006 Posted March 31, 2006 im going to work that day. i will just play the stranded six flags worker and camp out with all the TPR member.
Gnome Posted March 31, 2006 Posted March 31, 2006 I would so sign up for this If I had that day off, but I don't.
SharkTums Posted March 31, 2006 Posted March 31, 2006 im going to work that day. i will just play the stranded six flags worker and camp out with all the TPR member. Â We'd love to have you, but since you're not 18, we really can't have you as an official member of our group unless you have a parent or guardian there. Â Sorry. It's kind of sad, but they have the rules for a reason. Trust me, even poor Mr. Six can't come!!!!
niiicolaaah Posted March 31, 2006 Posted March 31, 2006 Too bad I don't have a private jet. Cause then I'd totally be there!
Meteornotes Posted March 31, 2006 Posted March 31, 2006 I was looking at flights for this, but it conflicts with something else I have to do. This looks like a fun time, and I have not camped out in forever. Ah well, everyone have fun! Â dt
Gnome Posted March 31, 2006 Posted March 31, 2006 Do you have to have a ticket/pass to attend? Reason why I'm asking is because none of my parental units possess such items, and they may need to purchase one if such is the case... and whatever.
colossus Posted March 31, 2006 Posted March 31, 2006 is it ok if someone over the age of 18 comes with me to the camp out?but the person is not related to me and is given permission by my parents to watch over me? Â CHRIS-O
SharkTums Posted March 31, 2006 Posted March 31, 2006 If you are at the campout by midnight, and stay until the morning, you do NOT need any sort of ticket or season pass. You get free admission to the park on Thursday. Also when you show up at 5pm you do not have to pay for parking either. (Plus Robb and I are working on dinner, snacks, and breakfast, so it could be a very Joey friendly two days!)
Wes Posted March 31, 2006 Posted March 31, 2006 Is there anything preventing us from using our cars to sleep in? I know Six Flags wants the PR to show us all all huddled outside the gate and such, but is there a strict no-no about trying to get a couple hours rest in the comfort of our vehicles? Â Just wondering.
Guy T. Koepp Posted March 31, 2006 Posted March 31, 2006 I have to work in Vegas on Thursday. I'll stay for the all niter then bolt when i have to catch my plane. If I ride, I ride. Cool! If not, I'll just have to go on Monday. Â I will get to spend the nite on rock hard pavement, not sleeping, and singing weird coaster songs by the light of the moon. Oh well, at least I can sleep on the plane.
Hattuchili Posted March 31, 2006 Posted March 31, 2006 Oh man, it is in april!? I need to ask my manager! Maybe I can get some free days!?  --Sören
arlen23 Posted March 31, 2006 Posted March 31, 2006 Im going! im so excited, cant wait until i camp out with everyone at six flags    does eveyone that camps out get to sit on it for sure? just wondering
uscfan7690 Posted March 31, 2006 Posted March 31, 2006 I'll be there on the high school/ college student promo day!
coaster_type_of_person Posted March 31, 2006 Posted March 31, 2006 Ugh, I'm not old enough. I'm one of the closest to Cali that's out of the state too. Man I really want to go but I don't think that my parental unit would be willing to drive just for me to ride a coaster! And I don't have an ACE membership.
robbalvey Posted March 31, 2006 Posted March 31, 2006 And I don't have an ACE membership. You don't need an ACE membership to come and hang with TPR at the camp out! Â --Robb
ShoubraStreet74 Posted March 31, 2006 Posted March 31, 2006 Ugh. too bad this thing is on a school day. Guess I have to ride Tatsu a few days later...
