1) X2 definitely!

2) Tatsu

3) Deja Vu

4) Goliath

5) Batman

The rest I'd have to think about, and I haven't been on Superman since it's changed to S:EFK and I only went on Termapocalypse once when it was Terminator and I usually like to ride coasters more than once before I decide how much I like it.

For me EASILY Riddler! It's an awesome coaster in every way... there's even great air in the back!

Totally agree on the air in the last row. It's my favorite spot. It used to be better, but I think they've trimmed it back. It's definitely my favorite stand-up coaster.

Speed varies significantly ride to ride; the amount of people in the train is a big factor. I think the confusing station is to blame for the loads of empty seats on each train. There is a huge speed difference between the beginning of the day and end of the day (probably one of the most noticable at SFMM next to Apocalypse). I don't really see (or I haven't felt) a huge difference in the braking during the MCBR these past couple years. I don't think they have to slow it down very much, its not like I305 burning through wheels.

Train 2 runs better (IMO faster) then train 3. It's newly rehabbed, more comfortable, doesn't hit your head on the OTSR like 3 does. Train 3 was the only train running during Riddler's notorious one train ops from November '10 - March '11, and will probably go down for a rehab this season. It's lookin pretty beat up, and it beats its riders up too.

Can any of that account for your ride experience differences? Did I just scare anyone?

Tatsu is the best ride there, though GL wasn't open yet (Don't see how in the world it could rank in the park's best anyway). X2 is impressive, and if it were a bit smoother, and not such a quick trip for the wait, it could take the title.

Here's how I rank their coasters.

1. Tatsu

2. X2

3. Green Lantern: First Flight

4. Goliath

5. Apocalypse

6. Riddler's Revenge

7. Scream!

8. Deja Vu

9. Superman: Escape From Krypton

10. Batman The Ride

11. Viper

12. Colossus

13. Revolution

14. Road Runner Express

15. Ninja

16. Gold Rusher

17. Canyon Blaster

Note: At night, Apocalypse would be #1, but during the day it is not as good. Also, I've only been on Green Lantern once, so that is based on my one ride. I think it will take a few more rides before I give it a final ranking.

My personal top 5

1. Superman: Escape From Krypton

2. Tatsu

3. Apocalypse

4. Goliath

5. Deja Vu

Though I might get crap for having S:EFK at the top, you have to think; there really isn't anything like it anywhere, it has short lines, quick loading, and that backwards launch always gets ya! Its also fun how the person operating the ride has control of when you launch and they play with you by being like okay im going to count down from thr--(launch) etc.

^Agreed. The car next to us was launched just like that. However ours was even better. The ride op said "Okay guys put your hand up, we're gonna have to check the restraints again." Right when we all put our hands up we were gone. That definitely added more thrill to the ride.

One of my rides in July resulted in the op acting like he was pushing the button but it was broken, shurgged his shoulders and another op snuck up behind him and launched us as the original op had an evil grin on his face. Good fun for sure.

7. Revolution - did I mentioned this was runied with OTSRs?

All other below that....

And before anyone asks about Tatsu - the restraint pressed my lower belly and I farted nearly all the ride so I dont really liked it....

Batman and Green Lantern were closed when I was there.

I am changing my #1 to Green Lantern, followed by X2 and Tatsu. I've become friends with its ride ops and they let me ride it 35 times yesterday. I think that your ride experience on it is really hit or miss, depending on what you're looking for. Some people don't like the ride when it spins too much (which I love).

So you rode it roughly 3hours straight?

I rode it 12 times straight in the morning, then came back and did 18 straight in the evening, and left and returned for the final 5 rides at night. I'd say there was an average of two minutes in-between rides, with some being back-to-back or back-to-back-to-back, based on the availability of an empty seat.
