michaellynn4 Posted January 1, 2019 Posted January 1, 2019 For all the Disney + culinary buffs out there:
hoppedup Posted February 4, 2019 Posted February 4, 2019 This may not be your thing, but I am excited about my new 4K camera (Panasonic Lumix G7). That's Kyle Petty on the left. It was a songwriter song swap kinda set. [youtu_be] [/youtu_be]

Nrthwnd Posted March 9, 2019 Posted March 9, 2019 I am in love with Ria Mae & The Nova Scotia Symphony and their take on Clothes Off! It's just wonderful, so here's the LINK to it.... (the song starts at 3:00) I found out there's now a third version of this song (with hip hop in it), but for my $ this is the best of the 3, including the original release!

Nrthwnd Posted July 20, 2019 Posted July 20, 2019 I don't know how to make it appear here but...here's the first trailer for the film version of the London/Broadway Musical...CATS. It's quite something to watch, really!
bert425 Posted July 20, 2019 Posted July 20, 2019 here you go. . and yes, it's the stuff of nightmares. [youtu_be] [/youtu_be] stellar cast, but man, this is a bomb-bomb-bomb. it will have a good afterlife as a midnight movie (with lots of alcohol) tho.
Nrthwnd Posted July 20, 2019 Posted July 20, 2019 ^ Actually, i was thinking more, of having the "right drugs" for it..... But yeah. I enjoyed seeing the original Broadway cast in it (1982) and I saw one tour of it, locally. But that's it. I have the feeling it's going to go the way of Lloyd Webber's "Phantom of the Opera" Remember it? I hardly do. Some stage musicals should (probably) never be made into films, see: "A Chorus Line". My personal Yuk. And I did see the original Broadway cast in 1976. And it was perfect. And then there are the rare few, that do work on film, see: "Chicago". My Ultimate Fave. Saw it onscreen 19 times. And I did see that on Broadway too, w/original cast, also in 1976. And it was perfect, too. Actually, and thankfully, they would probably never get away with a filmed version of "The Book of Mormon". BTW, I want to mention, I also posted this trailer link in the Movies and Musicals threads. Covering my bases. Sorry, this is more of a Movies Thread thing. But hey - Life Jumps Around, from time to time.
