Cyber.Fiber Posted March 29, 2012 Posted March 29, 2012 ...and that is how they should have ended Leviathan...
Schotcher Posted March 29, 2012 Posted March 29, 2012 The bunny hop and the super-mini bump just made this ride 10x more awesome.
sspaz1000 Posted March 29, 2012 Posted March 29, 2012 That color scheme looks awesome. and *yay* for track completion!
Schotcher Posted March 30, 2012 Posted March 30, 2012 Yeah, I know I'm sort of out of it, but how many tunnels are there supposed to be?
Andershow Posted March 30, 2012 Posted March 30, 2012 I am going to Port Aventura on the 7th May. Any chance this new coaster will be open then?? Thanks
BDG Posted March 30, 2012 Posted March 30, 2012 There's no official opening date yet, but it's unlikely to be earlier than May 15.
brisingr25 Posted March 30, 2012 Posted March 30, 2012 Today the park opens! Check out the new Dragon's trains colours (Photo from RubenKhan): ...
UrbanLegend Posted March 30, 2012 Posted March 30, 2012 In a way it's... strangely appealing. I mean, Chinese dragons themselves are pretty fabulous, so why shouldn't Khan be too?
andybarnes84 Posted March 30, 2012 Posted March 30, 2012 Looks like khan is part of the sesame street area of the park now
oriolat Posted March 30, 2012 Posted March 30, 2012 PA must have stolen the colour scheme from Six Flags: I am SO disappointed. They had no reason to attack the trains with those colours. Before, you could tell which train you were riding by the colour and they looked good against the track. Now it looks like a kiddie coaster train on B&M tracks...
vacoaster09 Posted March 30, 2012 Posted March 30, 2012 I'm grabbing the tissues... I can hear Khan Crying all the way here in America! Poor Baby.
SharkTums Posted March 30, 2012 Posted March 30, 2012 Oh these parks and their wraps and painting choices...terrible!!!
BaMiTsPaT Posted March 31, 2012 Posted March 31, 2012 ^That second picture is amazing! In the Dragon Khan train discussion, I also think this new paint scheme is hideous. I guess PA is trying to make their new coaster look ALOT better!
australianalex Posted March 31, 2012 Posted March 31, 2012 Not the first time a dragon has been brought down by garish colors. Only difference is that Dragon Khan is actually a good coaster.
oriolat Posted March 31, 2012 Posted March 31, 2012 Different angle, same crappy colour scheme Source: PA-Community.com
Dragon Khan Posted March 31, 2012 Posted March 31, 2012 They decided to paint the trains with Club TPR logo colours ! LOL ! Seriously, I cannot believe how a park like this can apply this awful treatment to my baby...
spinning man Posted March 31, 2012 Posted March 31, 2012 I actually quite like that colour scheme. I don't get it why so many people are against it, well other than the description of vile colours.
coasterfreak101 Posted March 31, 2012 Posted March 31, 2012 ^Yeah, I actually kind of like it...better than the old trains, actually.
oriolat Posted March 31, 2012 Posted March 31, 2012 (edited) Nice aerial view... ... now if only testing would start... Edited March 31, 2012 by oriolat
