The announcement may come during their quarterly report on 2/19. If not presented, it will be a question certainly asked.. We shall see...

You still get a drink bottle with your DE VIP membership.

You may be right but this is what I got from SF regarding my membership and it specifically says no beverages:

As a reminder, your membership dining plan is now the All Season Dining – All Parks dining add-on

Your new plan provides two meals per visit from participating locations, and the best part? You can use it at all 40+ Six Flags parks throughout North America.

Your existing dining plan was automatically converted to the All Season Dining – All Parks add-on earlier this month.

How the New Plan Works

In 2026, your dining plan will provide two meals per visit from participating locations.*

A four-hour interval between meals is required — perfect for lunch, four hours of nonstop fun, and then dinner!

Snacks and beverages are not included in 2026 dining plans.

Your All Season Dining – All Parks add-on will be accessible with the Six Flags mobile app and is connected to your Season Pass or Membership.

Fuel up for fun and feast from menus across North America — your All Season Dining – All Parks add-on has you covered for another thrilling season of FUN.

Legacy members have that as a membership perk outside of dining plans.

Ok, well then way to sow confusion by sending that message to legacy members. All of our dining was a membership perk not an add on plan but according to this message has been converted to an add on plan. As usual and based on the extremely conflicting responses by various higher ups I have spoken with, as well as one customer service rep that flat out said "we really have no idea" I think there is confusion within the company on this issue. Again, it's a first world problem and I'm not losing any sleep over it, but annoying as it should be such a simple matter that no one seems to be able to answer definitively.

You have a membership (pre-covid) that includes a drink bottle.  Not all memberships over the years do.  You added on a dining plan that also had a bottle at some points over the years.  That is no longer the case with dining add ons.  Thus the email.  However, you still get your legacy bottle perk.

Ok, the pre-covid drink bottle included makes sense and those of us that kept our memberships through the Covid lock downs did get some extra perks for ahwile after. Mostly things like extra bff and discounts. However, I assure you I have never added on any dining plan. From the very beginning we had 2 meals, a snack, and a drink bottle included in our membership and never altered that. Now I believe that you could be correct and SF simply sent me the email erroneously or they just messed up the messaging or whatever who knows. Lol, I feel like it's what I always thought it would be, show up at the park and see what happens.

When you bought a membership, you also added a dining plan.  No membership ever came with free food.  Both were bundled together.

Like you, I have had a legacy membership since before Covid.  Although I never added on the member dining plan, I simply bought one as an add on and renewed it annually.  I too got this same email, which did not really apply to my situation as my dining plan has to be re-upped every year.  My membership (DEVIP) has always included a drink bottle though and I know that is not going away.  In your case, your member dining plan is baked into your monthly membership.  What I am unclear on is will you now have to buy this add-on annually, and if so, will your monthly membership cost drop accordingly.  Or is it your member dining will be identical to the add-on version, but still part of your membership.

An investor on the 2/19 earnings call reportedly asked point blank about Enchanted Parks.  Six Flags CEO John Reilly responded: "We don't have anything to share today on that front" (from Attractions Magazine article).  So, neither confirmed nor denied at this point.

Well, the announcement just happened. Both companies put out PR's. 2026 will happen as originally planned, but the true split happens in 2027. I'd of liked to see Enchanted Parks have more of a "here's the plan" kind of release, but I suppose it makes more sense to do those later this year.

I'm sure it's probably still being finalized. Also likely they wanted to avoid information overload. Even just the announcement of the sale itself is a lot to take, likely they didn't want to overwhelm.

I wonder if they licensed the IP's that Six Flags had.  I guess time will tell.

Highly doubtful, expect name changes to all Comic Related attractions.

Turns out we were right about  SF never giving us that big new coaster...

No. Rip off all that cheesy superhero themeing and come up with some original names and themes.(Not Flight Deck) Bring on the family attractions.

I wonder what will happen to Justice League, all together.

Even if there's a small chance this place will turn into Twin Pines subdivision or indoor soccer fields, I'll roll the dice.

Batman becomes "Black Inverted Coaster"

Freeze becomes "Blue Launched Boomerang Coaster"

Joker becomes "Spinning Fling Machine"

Justice League = "The Empty Bldg"  (SF parted it out to other parks)

Same. We are entering an incredibly interesting time in the park's history, which is more than could be said if things kept on as normal with the previous (horrendous) owners/management.

The deal for all 7 parks was for $342 million according to Screamscape. One would sure assume that the new ownership group did not make this purchase unless they thought there was money to be made, so I think that bodes well for at least the immediate future. Probably not the long term future if things sputter, but yeah, I'd much rather roll the dice and MAYBE have chance of legit seeing improvement.

I'm hoping they do not continue with any sort of agreement for the DC/WB licensing and instead do what they can to rebrand/rename and hopefully have some sort of semblance of actual theming in the park, even if it's somewhat rudimentary.

I hope this park is successful. I think the opportunity is very much there if these folks come at with an actual solid plan and the budget to see it through, whatever that may be. If they can present a solid vision for what it will be, I'll happily buy passes for my entire family again and be ready to spend time and money there.

If it eventually goes the way of another McBride homes subdivision, well I hope the next few years are fun, at least!
