SFSTLMO Posted September 5, 2014 Posted September 5, 2014 Nothing is ever good enough is it??? Just a thought, as there is only 7 cars, while in Scooby-Doo, there are about 20 boats (at full capacity).

SteveStL Posted September 5, 2014 Posted September 5, 2014 Capacity will be fine. It is will be much smoother than getting in and out of those little boats.
SteveStL Posted September 5, 2014 Posted September 5, 2014 asked the online 8 ball lol When will Six Flags St. Louis get a hyper roller coaster? YAY! haha maybe a relocated hyper It is my guess that we will see an Iron Horse conversion on the Boss and a Relocated B&M to replace the Ninja. When?? no idea but that is my hunch. Hopefully 2016 for the Boss

Just a thought, as there is only 7 cars, while in Scooby-Doo, there are about 20 boats (at full capacity). Scooby-Doo has not run that many boats in YEARS. I'm thinking they are running 12 boats on Scooby. 4X12 is 48 people. Justice League will have 7 cars that seat 6 people, 7X6=42. That's not too far off of its current capacity.

G$ Kurt Posted September 5, 2014 Posted September 5, 2014 The capacity is something I would be a little concerned about. Here's what we know, 7 six passenger vehicles with a 3:20 ride time. Compare that to scooby doo's 22 4 passenger boats and a five min ride and yes there is a huge difference of capacity in favor of scooby foo, that being said scooby doo does not have any where near 22 boats running at a time, combine that with the cumbersome loading procedure and the fact that most boats never actually have 4 passengers, and its probably pretty similar. What worries me is six flags history with ride efficiency concerning operations. Now with justice league, with one car in the station and 6 in the ride area, thats 35 seconds to unload, load and dispatch without stacking. A pretty doable time actually, but given six flag's less than stellar history in this department even if dispatch times are on the mark this first year, I wouldn't expect them to stay there for much longer beyond that first year. All in all i'm a little disappointed with the capacity as it seems like this will be another slow moving line. But at least the ride sounds great so far! Ha!

Actually, Scooby normally runs anywhere from 14-16 boats this year. If I remember correctly, at the beginning of this season, it started off with somewhere around 18-20 boats but has dwindled down to around 15 on average.
HARLEYGUYJB Posted September 7, 2014 Posted September 7, 2014 I pity the Scooby Foo. one too many scooby snacks...
cfc Posted September 7, 2014 Posted September 7, 2014 I pity the Scooby Foo. one too many scooby snacks... Perhaps he's confused Scooby Doo with Hong Kong Phooey.

CoasterWoz Posted September 8, 2014 Posted September 8, 2014 I just wan to say how easy it was to process our season passes yesterday at the front gate. Took maybe 5 minutes for my family of 6 to process our passes and head in to have some fun. Now, the small crowds (It was drizzling and a bit chilly at just under 70 degrees), but still...what a nice simple process. A big bit of praise to HWFan for his help when I was asking questions about season passes...much appreciated! Looking forward to next year and the Battle for Metropolis - Scooby is my 7 year olds favorite ride...and he was a bit sad to ride one last time yesterday.
aaronmb Posted September 8, 2014 Posted September 8, 2014 Finally went today and I thought it wouldn't be crowded. Well, I was VERY wrong. Went on four rides, with each one having hour waits.

It was a bring a friend free day, What would you expect? My wife suggested going out today, I told her it was bring a friend free, she said "Forget about that!"

We went today cause me and my friend were off. I tried registering my pass online and keep getting wrong pass id/last name. Doesnt really matter much though, as I dont think ill use any coupons.
prozach626 Posted September 8, 2014 Posted September 8, 2014 My wife suggested going out today Your wife actually asks to go to parks?! Nice! I'm jealous.
theymitbgi Posted September 8, 2014 Posted September 8, 2014 My wife suggested going out today Your wife actually asks to go to parks?! Nice! I'm jealous. Yep, great weather, youngest son had an early soccer game, so she asked about noon, hey wanna go? We really only go to take the kids, as I really don't ride much nor does the wife, but we do have food passes, so it makes for a cheap family day. About $20 for fuel and a drink refill. I drive a Chevy Silverado all the way from North County so I figure 2-1/2-3 gallons each way.
HARLEYGUYJB Posted September 8, 2014 Posted September 8, 2014 Anyone know what happened with pandemonium today? Some of my friends were on it today and their car got stuck on the hill. Park staff had to escort them from the top of the hill.

xXCcsc918Xx Posted September 8, 2014 Posted September 8, 2014 I can't wait for this park to get a new coaster. its needed at this park.
bbmchl Posted September 8, 2014 Posted September 8, 2014 Finally went today and I thought it wouldn't be crowded. Well, I was VERY wrong. Went on four rides, with each one having hour waits. Same with us yesterday. I knew there were some "bring a friend free" days but forgot to look them up. I think there may be another one next Sunday. I have never seen the park so crowded on a non-Frightfest day. I heard someone say attendance was 17,000. Wait times for rides were longer than usual (mine train - 35 minutes, Pandemonium - 50 minutes, log flume - 25 minutes). The lunch time line at the pizza place by Superman was to the door, but it was fully staffed and the line moved well enough. On the other hand, the dinner line at Macho Burrito was around 20 deep out the door and was hardly moving for a while. We ended up waiting over an hour. I think they were short a person or two for a while and the line stacked up. We generally avoid free friend days and concerts and would have probably gone Saturday had I looked it up before making our weekend plan.
