Just a note, if you have received your confirmation email back from Mitch, please check your ballot for mistakes.

 

While browsing through them I noticed today that some people are missing the "Favorite Steel Coaster" on the ballot (Derek for example!) and then I saw that someone on CF posted that using the web tool could be the problem. If there are errors, you should probably contact Mitch and send in a text ballot just in case!

This is bizarre. I have tested the form many times and it always includes the "favorite steel" line. Actually, it doesn't give you the option to remove it. The only way you could remove it is if you manually take it off the ballot in the last step. Could the problem be on the tabulation end?

 

If anyone is having problems with it please PM me.

 

EDIT: Just tested again and everything is working fine. Don't know what this is all about. Here was my ballot as recreated with the "helper"

^ Did you check the link that Mitch sends you? I'm looking at it now and both Derek and Katie have blank lines where the "My Favorite Steel" should be.

 

Could something be getting lost during the trasmission to Mitch?

I have found the problem with the helper. It has been fixed and the helper now works PERFECTLY. Robb is in touch with Mitch to fix the already submitted ballots. You should not have to do anything. I will keep you posted.

I was about to say "Meh... too complicated..." until I saw this Poll Helper.. For the first time in years, I actually submitted my ballot!!! Looks like Knoebel's Phoenix is a favorite from some people.. In my opinion I thought Twister was better than the Phoenix this year. It seems that the Phoenix's flame was a bit weak this year compared the past. I should know, I've been riding it for 19 years, about 10 times a year...

I tried to use Ted's program, but unless I'm wrong, you can't group coasters? You have to rank each woodie, correct? Or am I doing something wrong?

You have to order each coaster, but you can change the rankings (manually) in Step 6.

 

Also, many people probably haven't caught this but you can also multiple select in the form by holding the CTRL button while you make your selections. This will allow you to move around more than one coaster at a time.

Nope.. I thought it flat out sucked! I only took one ride in the back, so that may have had something to do with it. I'm in no rush to return though, Coney was a pretty disgusting place.

Phonix dropped to a three for me this year, it was just downright bad at PPP. Tister however was godly. 2 more number ones for me this year though with Avalanche and Hades.

 

There is no way I cudl do this poll without using Robb's method as I really don't rank coasters.

Yeah well, I based a lot of that on the great ride that I had on it and the fact that people overlook it because Boulder Dash is in the same park. I've come to realize that it is merely average, but still a solid ride. It's a low 7 at best, but I still liked it. I haven't met a wooden coaster that I really haven't liked yet. Oh yeah that's right there are the Riverside Cyclone and Rolling Thunder
