Universal Orlando Resort (USO, IOA) Discussion Thread

P. 624: Super Nintendo World unveiled!

Recommended Posts

I don't know if this question has been addressed yet and if it has, sorry for double posting it, but here it is...

When you sit in your seat and pick your song, can you hear only your song or do you hear other peoples choices as well?

When I rode today, I ask my friend who sat next to me if she could hear my song and she said she could not. Oh and her audio was not working so she had no music and still couldn't hear my.

Just got back from riding Rockit again.

We got there at 10, the ride didn't open until 10:40. We waited an hour after entering the queue.

Anyway, I did get a hidden bonus track!

#123 is Muse - Stockholm Syndrome!

To get to the hidden songs, hold the "Hollywood Rip, Ride, Rockit" logo at the top of the touch pad for a long 5 seconds. Let go and a number pad will appear. Hit a number 031 - 999 and you'll get a song.

My ride on it today was MUCH better than it was on Monday. The block breaks aren't as harsh anymore and you really fly through them now. The shake seems to be less too, at least in the train I was riding.

Don't know if this has been asked but does anyone know how the evacuation system works?

I'm pretty sure the blocks are like any other coaster in that they just escort people off the train on row at a time and down the stairs. If a train stops on the lift and they need to unload, they take the loaded train to the top and unload from up there (Someone correct me if I'm wrong) the same way any other coaster would.

anybody know what the wait time was thursday?????????????

When it opened at 11am, they said it was 3-4 hours. I think this was just to discourage people from staning in line. I would say closer to 1-2 hours, which is still unbearable in this heat.

If you can, wait 'til Sept/Oct when they get all 7 trains running and the summer crowds are gone.

^ Probably after it's been redesigned to make it less hideous.

It couldn't be any more hideous than it is right now, which looks like scaffolding. This is Universal, not Six Flags. They better put something up there to cover the "construction site" look it has now.
