robbalvey Posted October 27, 2005 Posted October 27, 2005 http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7721503785&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMESE%3AIT&rd=1 Yep - it's a B&M OTSR.....going for a WHOPPING 99 cents right now! What would someone do with this? --Robb "If it was an SLC harness I'd be all over that!" Alvey
SharkTums Posted October 27, 2005 Posted October 27, 2005 lol, for $60.99 that's not too bad! Let me know when there's a full seat, I'd be all over that!
zongaboy626 Posted October 27, 2005 Posted October 27, 2005 my mom bid for me YAY im the highest bidder! i am only bidding cause its my home b&m
M_Force_4_ever Posted October 27, 2005 Posted October 27, 2005 ^^you do realize that its $60 to ship it to you, as Elissa said...yeah, what is it that anyone who bids on it plans on doing with it?
dandaman Posted October 27, 2005 Posted October 27, 2005 I'd make it my new chair to sleep in. It's comfortable enough, right?
XANAX: The Ride Posted October 27, 2005 Posted October 27, 2005 ^^^Yeah, I was thinking an accessory to some stylish t shirt that is sold on a theme park website... ...or take out the driver side seat belt of your car and install it. Safety first!
SharkTums Posted October 27, 2005 Posted October 27, 2005 We should all start bidding on it to see how high his mom bid for him!
shesaidboom Posted October 27, 2005 Posted October 27, 2005 ^^Haha, do it! I just worry that I'll outbid his mom and be stuck with a giant necklace/new car seat belt that cost me $60 in shipping fees.
shesaidboom Posted October 27, 2005 Posted October 27, 2005 What're you going to do with it if you win?
zongaboy626 Posted October 27, 2005 Posted October 27, 2005 hang it up in my room maybe paint a mural around it
Imhotep Posted October 27, 2005 Posted October 27, 2005 Hmm. Maybe this could be the next PhotoChop contest.. Different uses for a B&M restraint! Maybe it could be used as some kind of fancy toilet seat?
Rockman89 Posted October 27, 2005 Posted October 27, 2005 I'd rig it up to hold me on my toilet seat. It'd be like taking a wild ride everytime I went, complete with the signature B&M roar.
DragonKhan Posted October 27, 2005 Posted October 27, 2005 What would someone do with this? Add it to an Intamin seat maybe?: http://www.onride.de/viewtopic.php?t=14462&start=40&1660
arrowfanman Posted October 27, 2005 Posted October 27, 2005 I would get it for 60 bucks, if it had the handles.
shesaidboom Posted October 28, 2005 Posted October 28, 2005 Hmm. Maybe this could be the next PhotoChop contest.. Different uses for a B&M restraint! It would be interesting to see what else people come up with.
SpartanTS Posted October 28, 2005 Posted October 28, 2005 I'd rig it up to hold me on my toilet seat. It'd be like taking a wild ride everytime I went, complete with the signature B&M roar. I think my roars sound more like Intamin. If it's Taco Bell, it may sound like Superman: The Escape
DRWP2005 Posted October 28, 2005 Posted October 28, 2005 You guys know that the retail price that a park pays for one of those is over $1,000 to be exact. Thats a steal for $5.50
Meteornotes Posted October 28, 2005 Posted October 28, 2005 You could put it around your neck and sit in a chair and not move, and it would be just like riding Silver Bullet. Or put it around your neck and lay down and take a nap, and it would be much like riding Patriot next year... dt
Real Posted October 28, 2005 Posted October 28, 2005 ^^Haha, do it! I just worry that I'll outbid his mom and be stuck with a giant necklace/new car seat belt that cost me $60 in shipping fees. I bought a DDR pad that cost me 60 in shipping. considering the whole thing with shipping was still less than the "brand" models, it was a wise choice.
PkiJake Posted October 28, 2005 Posted October 28, 2005 I would wear it as a necklace. That would be some serious bling, bling!
YoshiFan Posted October 28, 2005 Posted October 28, 2005 Nice how the seller is charing $7.50 optional insurance yet UPS insures your item free up to $100 so they are probably going to profit off the insurance (doubtful extra insurance will go over $7.50 total even if it does get over $100 before shipping). I would have bid if shipping wasn't so much (probably would pay around $50 - $60 with shipping).
Bubba Z Posted October 28, 2005 Posted October 28, 2005 I've bought an elephant spring ride that weighed 40 pounds and that was only $14.50 shipping sent Fed Ex ground. How much could a harness weigh 10- 15 pounds ? What a rip off. Or put it around your neck and lay down and take a nap, and it would be much like riding Patriot next year... Dave, lmao
Angry_Gumball Posted October 28, 2005 Posted October 28, 2005 I shoulda got that Space Mountain car and then got the B&M restraint and somehow rig a SM car with OTSRs...or I could use it as a new and improved seatbelt for my car.
