XLRBR
If anyone has heard there is going to be a THIRD, that's right third, Fast and the Furious movie. And guess what? Some scene is being filmed about 2-4 miles away from me! How awsome!! There's Bow Wow, Tyresse, Ludacris and I think Paul Walker from "Into the Blue!" It has been being filmed since about Wednesday or Thursday and there are still trailers and stuff! Anyway, just thought you'd like to know. --Davon "oh my frickin' gosh!!" Wes
The amount of porn that is filmed in a 4 mile radius around my apartment on a daily basis would put most people to shame. Heck, my friend's next door neighbors rent out their house for porn shoots.

batmanfan612
Though it is true that Fast and the Furious 3 is being filmed out here (or part of it anyway) Paul Walker, Tyrese and Ludacris are not in the movie, and most of this will be filmed on location in Tokyo. As a huge a fan of drifiting and the Japanese tuning scene, I severely pray that this isnt another botched attempt at trying to show the street racing culture accurately. Just the fact that there's going to be a classic Mustang with a Skyline engine in this movie scares me to no end.
Jew
They're filming movies right behind where I work every single day! It's pretty cool!
robbalvey
Davon, I for one think it's cool! I remember the first time I ever saw them shooting a movie near my house. Of course, that was still in black & white and it was a silent movie, but it was still cool! --Robb
Mr.Six
They filmed a Goosebumps a few houses away from mine in the 90's. But they use Long Beach Poly (My high school) in a ton of movies and commericals! (Coach Carter) -six

XLRBR
Well I live in this little city called Victorville. Not a very familiar city, yes I know, but that's what makes this so exciting! Out of all the cities in Cali they picked mine to film this scene! And I know it's only one scene filmed here. The rest of course will be filmed in Tokyo considering the movie is called The Fast and the Furious Tokyo!

FlyingScooter
Did I read that right? A Classic Mustang with a Skyline power plant? What would they call it? American Rice instead of muscle? Walker isn't going to be in it?

Scaparri
Yeah, if anybody wants to see what my hometown and area looked like 26 years ago, go rent the movie "Breaking Away" starring Dennis Quaid, Daniel Stern, and Dennis Christopher. It's actually a good movie. Kind of neat that my hometown in Indiana had a major motion picture made about it. The bike race that the movie is centered around really does exist and really is a huge deal here. It is labeled as the greatest weekend in college. The teams in the movie are real as well. Check it out.
4718
oh god, not another one... Never saw the second one, no intention to see the first one again even though I saw it on TV........I'm certainly not blowing my hard earned SFMM paycheck on that load of ricer-iffic stupidity! Walker isn't going to be in it? Yes you heard that right. The muscle car purists are gonna die lol. No, Walker isnt going to be in it. Lucas Black from Friday Night Lights is playing the lead role, just check out the film on IMDB. For anyone, that truly knows drifting, none of the lead characters will be driving an AE86, which basically founded the sport. For those who dont know drifting, PM me and Ill tell you the basics. Too long to explain on here.

ChrisFL
Im taking a wait and see approach. Im an import enthusiast and have owned 2 Toyota MR2's, neither of which received neon lights, crazy paint jobs or insane sound systems...but anyway... I HATED the first movie, absolutely hated it...it was so horrid it wasn't even describable. However, I happened to be at Universal Orlando during the opening of 2F2F and the guys from Jade Crew (an import club) were in front of the theater with their cars which are very nicely done, some of the nicest Ive seen, the chicks there were nice too Anyway I decided to go ahead and see it, and the movie was actually decent!! They avoided talking about fake engine mods and exaggerating everything and just made a fun movie. Was it realistic? not really. did I care? no, it was pure entertainment and it didn't label all import enthusiasts as thugs, gangsters, etc. like the first one did.
