No contest. Bungee wins. Slingshots are shockingly not-thrilling. The launch feels comparatively controlled, as does the rebounding. The ones with old school bungee cords might be different, but they're also death traps I won't touch with a million foot pole.

I'm confused...I assumed skycoasters are like Daredevil Dive at GAdv, which makes me confused as to what bungee rides you are talking about.

Anyway, I prefer the older models of the slingshot compared to skycoasters. However, after my recent trip to Seaside, I far prefer the Skyscraper to either. It is very thrilling, fast, deceptively tall, out-of-control and in an amazing location on the pier. Going backwards, while being upside down looking at the ocean from 150ft up is quite the sensation!

I have yet to do a bungee jump, but I do like SkyCoasters (especially the one in Kissimmee). However, the one slingshot I have ridden was the one at Grand Sierra Resort in Reno. Thing was awful. It had the absolute worst headbanging I had ever encountered, and it made that ultra-rough coaster down south feel like a B&M. I do not not know who manufactured this one, but some of the other ones I have seen like the one at SFMM do look A LOT smoother. I have never ridden any of the smooth-looking ones, though.

Never been bungee jumping, not sure that I ever would. I would Sky Dive way before bungee jumping though.

Sky coaster is a lot of fun in my opinion, except for the trip to the top (I can't stand drop towers for the same reason).

But as someone said earlier, Slingshots are unimpressive. The launch is smooth, doesn't feel like you are going all that fast. Plus the rocking up and down at the very end is nauseating. Just my 2 cents.

I've never been on a slingshot, but SkyCoaster's are a lot of fun especially if they are in a good location.

The sky coaster at blackpool is quite cool, it's on the edge of the pier so you swing out over the sea.

But of the 3 bungee jumping is definitely the best.

Bungee Jump - Might be the scariest thing I've ever done. The fear of jumping off the edge, and the initial fall prior to the rope catching are both amazing.

Sky Coaster - These are great. Love them.

Slingshot - It was worth doing.. once. Anymore than that, and I can't justify it not being a waste of money.

Within the next three weeks, I'll have Skydived and jump off the Stratosphere, so I look forward to adding them to this comparison.

Bungee jumping is an absolute rush, and is so so thrilling / terrifying.

Sky coasters and slingshots are tame by comparison, and I wouldn't pay to do either again. If you're into big thrills, I haven't found anything more exciting than bungee jumping, including sky diving. I would go bungee jumping every day if I could.

When I rode my first Skycoaster (180ft model), I thought it was the greatest ride ever and that nothing could top it.

Then I went bungee jumping. There's something about falling face-first towards the pavement with seemingly nothing to stop you, slow you down, or restrict your movement. Really the only thing I've done that might top it is the SCAD Tower, which allows you to fall 100 feet into a net without being attached to any ropes/cables/bungee cords.

Slingshots are really fun, but aren't nearly as terrifying as any of the other three.

So in order....

1. Bungee Jump/SCAD Tower tie

2.Skycoaster (Don't pay a lot for it unless it's at least a 180' model)

3.Slingshot

Like others, I've yet to bungee.

I prefer a 180+ foot Skycoaster. The slow ascent is unnerving and the initial dive is an awesome rush. Although we don't talk about them much, perhaps because of the up-charge, I think Skycoasters are the most thrilling rides in lots of parks with decent coaster lineups. The mid-sized arched versions aren't bad either, but I haven't brought myself to pay for one of those dinky models that top off at 100 feet.

Results may vary by model with Slingshots, but I really like the one at Darien Lake. If you can get your bearings during the ride, the free-form flipping at nearly 300 feet is visually just so awesome. Between bounces, it's a blissful feeling of being in the air. I prefer that model and restraint style to the newer ones Cedar Fair has been purchasing. To me, the pods on the new ones bob too much near the end of the ride, making me feel like a nauseous turtle stuck on my back.

This is all great to hear so far. I look forward to trying all three up charge attractions in the near future, as the two closest parks to me (Canada's Wonderland and La Ronde) both have skycoasters (both around 170'), as well as slingshots. There is also two bungee jump places fairly close to one of the parks (La Ronde).

Look forward to hearing more opinions

I second the SCAD tower. I'd like to do the one in Orlando, if it's still open. I've been Skycoasting and on Slingshots and I prefer the latter. The Skycoaster at Kennywood is really fun as you're hoisted up over the lagoon, making it seem all the higher. I want to do the 300 footer in Kissimmee eventually. After that, I'd like to do that jump out of the 102nd floor of the Stratosphere in Vegas. The CN Tower should offer something like that.

Also count me in as a fan of the Skyscraper. Going backwards was kind of lame but pulling G's against the harness and looking straight up (down?) at a concrete go-kart track at Cedar Point was worth the price of the ride.
