kidcoaster 2 Posted April 17, 2013 Posted April 17, 2013 I love how the park continued the great theming as seen around the rest of the park on this ride and got the Magic Mountain down perfectly with ad-wraps on every surface possible. The only thing missing was a single train operation.

ArizonaGuy Posted April 17, 2013 Posted April 17, 2013 Wow....that looks pretty amazing. All the theming they put into it is pretty nice. The mist and dips close to the water make it look pretty cool. It also seems they did the keyhole type effect about 3 different times.

netdvn Posted April 17, 2013 Posted April 17, 2013 One of the cool things about wing coasters is that you have a lot of opportunities for environment interaction (keyholes, near-miss supports, water effects, near-miss props). XRaptor looks like a lot of fun, especially if you include all the near misses.

Manta you only get *barely* wet, if you happen to sit in a certain seat, and I think it's mostly by accident. This, the splash effect works for the entire train, and you're almost guaranteed, no matter which side you sit on, that you'll get hit by at least one water bomb while on the ride. Â I've been on Manta several times, in the back of the train, and actually never got wet. A lot of it has to do with the weight of the train, timing, etc....
