hey...hey
^Goliath is a cool name for a coaster, agreed, it is just over-used.

Sharman19
Batman: the Ride is overused. Six Flags Parks! Strength: Great RMC coasters! Weakness: Originality!
DarienLaker
Cedar Point is the ground of terrible names. Here are my thoughts. Ocean Motion: What? Blue Streak: Overused. Windseeker: lives up to its name when it closes for high winds. Mantis: Sounds like a kiddie ride to me. Corkscrew: How Original! Top Thrill Dragster: I see what you did there. Millennium Force: How come it's not as intense as I305? Magnum XL-200: What's next, M-60 Thrillinator!? Slingshot: How Original! (again) Snoopy Bounce: Just call it Snoopy's bounce party! Speaking of Cedar Fair in general, here are my thoughts on their bad ride names .Flight Deck: Sounds like something for motion simulator ride. .Skyrider: Not really an appropriate name for a stand up coaster .Bat: O.K. for a suspended, flying, Wing Rider,or any other inverted coaster, but not for a boomerang coaster! .Time Warp: How "Original"! .Woodstock Express: Overused. (note to Kings Island, rename your "Woodstock Express" coaster back to "Beastie"!) .Steel Force: How "Original"! (again) .Backlot Stunt Coaster: Even worse than "Italian Job: Stun Track", come on how about a better name for those coasters! .Wilderness Run: Despite the fact the name of this kiddie coaster has changed to something lamer than "Jr. Gemini", I'm still going to refer to it by its old name. .Spinning Dragons: I see what you did there. How is steel force not original. I love the name. Time warp really isn't used a lot either. And I personally love the name Mantis and it's logo. In my opinion, the names "Steel Force" and "Time Warp" are bad not because they aren't overused, it's because both names are not really "original". They're just bad names in general. In closing, I personally think that "Steel Force" is the lesser of the evils!
StuckInSD
Now that I think about it, ________ Mountain is just being lazy. You can put whatever word you want in front of it and call it done, such as: - Space - Splash - Runaway - Dragon - Dinosaur - Happy - Big - Thunder - Magic - Twister The Spanish variant is worse. There's literally 39 coasters with "Montaña Rusa" in the name. And those are just the onese RCDB lists.
Sharman19
Spongebob Squarepants Rock Bottom Plunge is just plain awful, a Kiddie Coaster name for a Eurofighter?
Generic Name
^Montaña Rusa just simply means "Russian Mountain", which is another name for Roller Coaster. Which is just as over used, granted.
Sharman19
"New for 2015: berg-och dalbana!" It means roller coaster. I bet there is a coaster in Sweden named that.

DarienLaker
I might have brought up this thing before, but I think that Six Flags has given up on original and good ride names (except for "Goliath", that's a classic name) The bad Six Flags rides in my opinion .Batman: The Ride or some other subtitle (just overused, like does Six Flags really need more Batman rides?) .Pandemonium (Does not really fit with a skateboarding theme coaster) .Goliath (Good name, but overused) .Superman: (insert subtitle here) (overused like Batman) .Viper (kind of a "classic" name, but snake names for coasters are overused in general) .X(2) (How original, what's next for a coaster name "Y"!) timetrial3141592
I will have to go with Suspended Looping Coaster Over Water. Not only is the name extremely generic, but the ride isn't even over water. Plus, it's made by that Metallurgical Manufacturing company. I apologize if I did not link to the RCDB correctly. DarienLaker
^I'm not a fan of "Air" either but I do like Fury 325 Frankly, I think that "Air" and "Fury 325" are bad. OrlandoGuy
Although it was an awesome, AWESOME ride, I always thought the name "KONGfrontation" was pretty crummy. Its cheesy, punny, and the word "confrontation" itself doesnt exactly suit itself well to the name of an attraction. I dont know, it just seemed corny and boring. Still miss it tons though.
