3Mutts
Part I: Everland Amusement Park and Gardens Hey guys, me and my dad went to Everland on friday two weeks ago. IMO I thought Everland was a very beautiful park with an awesome wooden coaster. Below is what I thought about the rides. T Express 10/10: Better the El Toro because it had the same amount of airtime El Toro has but it was longer. It was better in the front then the back IMO Rolling X Train 7/10: The 3rd gen Vekoma trains did help, but the ride still sucked. It was better the first time we rode it then the second time. Herky & Timmy's Racing Coaster 8/10: Pretty good junior coaster, thought it was way better then Woodstock Express at Cedar Point. Mystery Mansion 8/10: Fun but very odd. I did not like the way we were seated in the car and thought the guns and theming could have been better. Columbus Adventure 8/10: Biggest pirate ship I've ever ridden. Thought it was force less and it could have gone higher. Double Rock Spin 10/10: Very good topspin Lets Twist 10/10: Very fun ride! Gardens 10/10: Very beautiful gardens recommend to anyone going to Everland. Now for pics! 5002 is our bus. After a 30min bus ride, we see the famous Everland tree! The tree is all decorated up for Halloween Bye piece of crap. Hello Intamin goodness I see El Toro here... And Balder here! Line (only 15min). Hmmm.... Me thinks I need a new phone The El Toro stlye lift. Airtime in the back here. The old graffiti ridden hallway is slowly building itself back up to its former glory. An old man in pain (maybe he has ridden Rolling X Train too many times?). I'm a evil cat creature with only one eye, fear ME! Umm.... I don't know how to explain this. Chair way from European Village to Rocksville (the reason there is a net under it is because the bar doesn't lock) In line for Rolling X Train we noticed a comic about it apparently theses story comics are found throughout the park. After we got done with Rolling X Train we decided to go check the condition of Eagles Fortress. Apparently they are still "refurbishing" it. Station Transfer Track Huss Breakdance called Rodeo. Going to ride the racing coaster that doesn't race. Only Timmy was running today. Timmy finishing his "race". Stage (I love the attention to detail in the kids area). Odd kiddie tower ride. IMO it was sort of like a parachute tower mixed with a gyro drop tower for kids. Mainstreet of the kids area (very cool). Fountain. Ferris wheel (closed all day ) Eagles Fortress from the kids area More to come in Part IB: Everland Amusement Park and Gardens.
SLUSHIE
As someone that has operated chairlifts in the past, I find that net under the chairlift kinda funny. Most chairlifts bars don't lock, in fact many chairlifts still don't have any bars at all. I realize this is a completely different country from the US, but I have always wondered why it seems the safety requirements for something like this is way more strict at a theme park than at a ski resort. larrygator
^The net is not necessarily there for safety, it could be there to catch items that people drop for easy retrieval.
australianalex
Good pics. I really need to ride T Express one day. Can I just say you're very generous with your scores lol. Giving a "piece of crap" a 7/10 and a Vekoma Junior Coaster an 8/10 is very kind, but I think T Express probably earned it's 10/10.
Jew
I agree with Larry. Those nets didn't look like they were meant for people. Sad to see Eagle's Fortress still just sitting there. It was incredible for a suspended!
DBru
So...the sign says they're refurbishing Eagle Fortress, but they're really not?
3Mutts
^Yep the sign has been there ever since it closed in 2009. And if they are refurbishing it I don't think they would let the track rust. Good pics. I really need to ride T Express one day. Can I just say you're very generous with your scores lol. Giving a "piece of crap" a 7/10 and a Vekoma Junior Coaster an 8/10 is very kind, but I think T Express probably earned it's 10/10. Also, Rollling X Trains was pretty good the first time we rode but the sucked the second time we rode we rode later in the day (it would have scored a 3/10 if sucked all day like French Revolution) also I liked Herky & Timmy's for some reason, IDK why. Meteornotes
It would be great if they were actually refurbing Eagle's Fortress, as it was one of the best coasters in the world. I hope they at least eventually replace with something of equal quality. dt
3Mutts
^ I hope so too as they have a lot of good terrain to work with there (Projekt Helix type coaster anyone? ) Part IB: Everland Amusement Park & Gardens Very cool double down drop on the log flume. Skloosh! Seat whipper dude. Up we go to Columbus Adventure. Big a$$ pirate ship. Loading up. Apparently the employee who runs the ride has a elephant purse. After Columbus Adventure and the zoo (more on that later) we went down to Everlands beautiful garden. Seriously this is one of the beautiful gardens I've ever seen. It even has a train that goes around the garden! After we crossed the train tracks, we have arrived at the Four Seasons Garden. Being true to its name, the Four Seasons Garden was decorated for Halloween. Real pumpkins then..... Flower pumpkins! Smiley flower pumpkin! The beginning of a walk through in the garden had this odd music plant thing. Saw and troll pumkins. Some sort of stage. The garden and T Express in the background. The garden and the park in the background. After we got done with the garden we walked up the hill by the carousel. I did Double Rock Spin (my first suspended topspin) I enjoyed it (it was way better then a regular topspin) Lets Twist! After we got done in Rocksville we went down to get a few more rides in on T Express. OMG 77 Degrees! Airtime! I'll leave you guys with a few shots of the tree at night. The zoo is coming tomarrow! jedimaster1227
It definitely is a shame to see Eagle's Fortress rot like that. I've never been a huge fan of any of the suspended coasters I've ridden (Big Bad Wolf, Flight Deck [PKI], Vortex [Canada's Wonderland], etc...) but this one looked too good to miss. cfc
It's always good to see pictures from faraway parks--thanks. T-Express looks amazing. I understand there's a dark ride there called Mystery Mansion--did you ride that?

_koppen
It was a joke... but how do you know the ride will be scrapped? The ride has been closed since 2009, and the park has said that they will replace it.

gisco
Glad to see T-Express is still running great. That was an awesome day when TPR was there, morning ERT on T-Express and night ERT on Eagle Fortress with the lights off.
Dragon Khan
Wonders happen: Turbine in Walibi (Belgium) has been dormant for 4 years, yet they're ACTUALLY refurbishing it for next season... so anything is possible, even for Eagle's Fortress... cross your fingers strong enough and it MIGHT happen... 3Mutts
Sorry for the double post but its time for the zoo! Part II: Everland Zoo IMO Everlands zoo was very nice and it had a lot of unique features in it. Below are my ratings of the exhibits at the zoo. Polar Bears 1/10: This exhibit was very sad. The Polar Bears looked miserable in it. I hope Everland remodels this exhibit soon. Tigers 8/10: Nice exhibit but the tigers didn't do too much. Dog Exhibit 8/10: Very odd location it would have been better in the petting zoo but still a nice exhibit. Friendly Monkey Valley 10/10: Very good I LOVED the Orangutan Skyway. Safari World 10/10: Very good close up encounters with the animals (the bus diver got the bears to come and walk with the bus!) if SFGADV Safari redo turns out anything like this it will be a hit! Kids Zoo 10/10: Very good with interesting things in it. Now for pics! Apparently they allow strollers on the skyway down to the zoo. We hate our habitat make us a new one! Tigers are just lazing around. Dog exhibit! While the penguins play.... Sealions show off. Orangutan Skyway! This was one of the coolest things I've ever seen. Pretty much the Orangutans had this rope way that connected their enclosures and they would play on it while going to their other enclosure. This IMO is a great way to make sure the Orangutans get their exercise and have fun. Wee! Baby monkey! Monkey food! Give me food! Ok Apparently male Ringtails have horny spurs on their legs! Where's our food? Leave me alone I'm angry. Think we are behind glass? Guess again. Aww little monkeys So cute. Be quite I'm thinking. Hello, I'm a monkey who thinks I'm a dog. Am I I tired? Or am I depressed? Fennec Foxes! More of the zoo later.
3Mutts
Part IIB: Everland Zoo Apparently the number of animals in Safari World changes each day. Liger! It's 3 o'clock and I'm just waking up. How did I get up here? I like to follow the bus. Another cool skyway for Red Pandas. Why can't we have theses in America? WTF is this? More Red Pandas! I wonder how many times they poop on people? I'll leave you with this image of baby birds. Next up, Lotte World!
SharkTums
Red Panda's are the red headed step children of the Panda world. It's pretty much a fox!
