simon8899 Posted December 9, 2013 Posted December 9, 2013 Santa looks creepy cause its a booze shack.... Glühwein is hot spiced vine - mostly offered with a "Schuss": A shot of mostly rum to heat it up....
Hhappy Posted December 9, 2013 Author Posted December 9, 2013 This is as close as I've gotten to riding Xcelerator at Knott's Berry Farm.. one day.. one day..
cfc Posted December 9, 2013 Posted December 9, 2013 (edited) Next time, maybe you should bring your own cable--just in case. Edited December 10, 2013 by cfc
Barge84 Posted December 9, 2013 Posted December 9, 2013 Just caught up on the last few updates. As always, these are great pictures. I noticed that I ended up in one of the American Thunder pictures. That's about the 5th or 6th time I've ended up in a picture from that ERT, and I look like my dog just died in all of them. Not sure why, because I've always really liked that ride. Maybe I'm just a really boring person and never realized it until now.
Jon Sabo Posted December 9, 2013 Posted December 9, 2013 Great photos--but that is the creepiest looking Santa ever. He almost appears as if he could have been on a Led Zeppelin (or Black Sabbath) Christmas album...err CD cover! I LOVE Europa Park, but never made it for a Christmas event. Guess I am going to add that to my bucket list now.
beatle11 Posted December 10, 2013 Posted December 10, 2013 Intamin rides are just so frustrating sometimes. Great pics.
kidcoaster 2 Posted December 10, 2013 Posted December 10, 2013 Sucks about not being able to ride, but great pics!
Hhappy Posted December 10, 2013 Author Posted December 10, 2013 the ride that used to be called: Terminator Salvation the Ride at Six Flags Magic Mountain
rolercstrluvr Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 Back in the days when the wood actually had some color to it, now it's all just sun bleached white. I really like the picture with the fire. (who wouldn't, everyone loves fire)
gerstlaueringvar Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 This is a great ride ... But started to get a bit rough. Great photos, as usual!
Mrlittle Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 You have a knack for taking coaster photos. You should make a book of all the funny faces people make in your photos.
beatle11 Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 Nice pics Hanno. GCI coasters are generally pretty fun.
kidcoaster 2 Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 Wasn't bad when I rode it back in October, back seat is the way to go!
gerstlaueringvar Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 ^ Really insane airtime on the first drop. I love the back seat ride of it last year. Ignore the roughness though.
Hhappy Posted December 11, 2013 Author Posted December 11, 2013 I guess log flumes are always fun. especially when they have water guns (giant soakers) for the people watching This was at Window of the World during the 2012 China trip
FreeFaller Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 Log flumes are so much fun! Put a handful of people in a boat and fun is guaranteed Great idea with the guns! Should be provided everywhere
palmerleeberry Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 ^ Oh yeah, I like log flumes too, until you have one prankster who decided to put some quarters into all of the water guns and fire them all on you at once. "You poor thing; you being the victim of that?" Not really, I did that to some people that I though look like they were hot and in need to cool down. EDIT NOTE: The name of the log flume and the park where that log flume is located in has not been named due to the fear those mean old wet boys might found me and exact their method of revenge.
TPDave Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 ^ In my immature days (I know right!) I used to change up 5 or 10 bucks into quarters and spends ages getting people on log/raft rides. Fun times!!
_koppen Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 Log flumes are one of my favorite rides, if they are themed well.
Barge84 Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 ^ In my immature days (I know right!) I used to change up 5 or 10 bucks into quarters and spends ages getting people on log/raft rides. Fun times!! I'm still mad at Larry for being "that guy" on the New Hotness tour in 2012. Soaked our group at Knoebels and Dollywood.
Ryan P. Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 Log flumes are so under rated! When I go with friends on a log flume it is just hilarious! Everyone is always having fun and no one knows who will get the most wet because of the weight dispersed on the boat. Really any water ride is fun besides Roman Rapids in BGW... That gets you drenched not wet. Dumb waterfalls
cfc Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 Yes, much evil was inflicted on those who rode that flume.
