I'm assuming that maybe this will be some sort of more 'value' option? Maybe not include the early entry or certain perks. It does seem a bit far away and that timeline to turn it into an 'Official' hotel seems awfully short.

That's a heck of a distance for any shuttle bus to go.

Maybe that's not going to be a part of this new hotel.

^ Actually, that looks pretty possible, looking at the map etc.

Which would be a cool transport to the Resort. Maybe they could/would

add another station (corner of where Scandi-Arendelle is ending up)

for them to first disembark the boat, then get on the monorail to the parks.

Interesting that they chose a hotel so far away from the park...

No kidding Robb. Palm & Fountain Terrace was where I stayed for most of my Japan trip in 2007 and it was a pretty darn long shuttle ride. 15 minutes sounds about right but took longer if traffic lights and such worked against you. The feeling of immersion was gone as the shuttle traveled through some interesting neighboring areas. I remember at some point passing something that resembled a fishery. However, they tried their best to keep it going with a TV in the bus playing various Tokyo Disney Resort promo material including a song I'm sure anyone who's been to TDR is familiar with, "This is the plaaaaaaaaaace..."

Even though a bus was needed, and will be to ferry people to/from this hotel, I enjoyed the fact that there was a schedule and they were consistently hitting it right on the minute like a train. Just goes to show that everything's better at Tokyo Disney, even the bus to your hotel!

Oh, and here's some photos of the actual Palm Terrace from my 2007 trip. I'd have taken more but I was actually dealing with a mild concussion from whacking the back of my head on Joypolis' Spin Bullet ride. Thank heavens for the little 7-11 style store that had some really cold drinks!

Fun little courtyard in the middle of the hotel. Will be interesting to see what becomes of this.

More "Tokyo Disney" coming soon here!

Here's a look at the main entrance, and a glimpse of the shuttle bus that took us to/from Tokyo Disney Resort.

Coca cola hot dogs are a Tokyo Disney thing now: http://kotaku.com/tokyo-disneyland-has-coke-flavored-hot-dogs-kind-of-1735606521

Didn't HKDL also change one of it's main street restaurants to have coca-cola themed items? I don't remember the name but it was the place that did this for dessert. I think it was a few months after I took this that they changed up the menu to coca-cola flavoured things.

Edit: It was the Corner Cafe: https://www.hongkongdisneyland.com/dining/hong-kong-disneyland-park/main-street-corner-cafe/

I think the second photo was posted on a HKDL blog of some kind, but it was announcing

the Corner Cafe having new menus which included Coca Cola as part of a few recipes.

I was there in Sept. of 2012, and it wasn't branded by Coca Cola at that time.

One of what they offered - Coca Cola Creme Brulee'.

Would you have one of these? (o;

My last day at the park, with a nice meal here at the Main Street Corner Cafe -

- with no little Coca Cola sign under it...yet. (Sept.30-2012)

The Beef Cheek with the roasted root veggies (and the Coca Cola bbq sauce) looks really nice. I'd try that.

For a different kind of thrill, Tower of Terror: Level 13 “Shadow of Shiriki”, a scarier version of the attraction adds an extra terrifying touch for guests.

Um, anyone know anything about this??!!?!?

Here is a POV of it. It's pretty much just two extra drops and external effects on the building:

^Interesting. Yeah I looked it up and I guess they've done this once or twice before. Doesn't look like that big of a change but I surely love the name!!

Just a question, but when the heck did Duffy and Shelly Mae get a pet?

Who knows? This may be a best friend of theirs, and not a pet. Still.

Now available at TDLR.
