EpcotLova Posted September 3, 2005 Posted September 3, 2005 So yeah im pretty buzzed right now and I thought of a coaster idea while in my inebriated state................................. How about, a wooden standup coaster that goes through a waterfall? That would be hardcoreeeeeeeeeee.
coasterfreak101 Posted September 4, 2005 Posted September 4, 2005 I've been thinking of a Stand -Up Below The Track coaster. There would be a floor, but your standing with your head almost touching the rails!
redunzelizer Posted September 4, 2005 Posted September 4, 2005 We've been discussing this lately and came up with that "Wooden Inverted Standup Launched Back2Back Coaster". Quite easy to imagine, even with the included under water section...
Canobie Fan Posted September 4, 2005 Posted September 4, 2005 you forgot to add the 4d floorless part....
Reon Posted September 4, 2005 Posted September 4, 2005 How bout...wooden-rocket-terra-standup-suspended-floorless-4d-spinning mouse with 314 inversions? Unlike you guys, I just think of realistic concepts. My latest is a cross between a wood twister and an out and back. Basically, it feels like an outie, but the turns keep on stearing you right into the supports. I have a track based off this idea made in RCT3, and it might be the greatest thing I have ever ridden. Its just a shame I'm unable to upload it...
AllisonY2K Posted September 4, 2005 Posted September 4, 2005 why not just start simple with an inverted spinning wild mouse? floorless log ride? lol.
Jeff128319 Posted September 4, 2005 Posted September 4, 2005 im waiting for a coaster where you're out of your seat more often than you're in your seat. but that's kinda impossible huh?
EpcotLova Posted September 4, 2005 Author Posted September 4, 2005 Ok guys im sober now.... And I can't believe you guys actually responded to my post. It was created in a total drunken state. You guys are great.
rollermonkey Posted September 4, 2005 Posted September 4, 2005 floorless log ride? lol. Isn't that basically how that kid got killed on the old mill earlier this year? Chris B
Reon Posted September 4, 2005 Posted September 4, 2005 im waiting for a coaster where you're out of your seat more often than you're in your seat. but that's kinda impossible huh? Its called a backseat ride on Cyclops...
F1shy Posted September 4, 2005 Posted September 4, 2005 How about a steel roller coaster... about 300 feet high... and goes over 90 mph!!! THAT WOULD BE CRAZY!!! And they could call it... hmmm... A GIGA COASTER!!! SWEET! Great idea, right? Haha, actually I was thinking about a wooden inverted coaster... would be interesting...
RctInfinity Posted September 4, 2005 Posted September 4, 2005 ^ Maybe Knott's will replace Silver Bullet and call "Wooden Bullet" LOL!
redunzelizer Posted September 4, 2005 Posted September 4, 2005 why not just start simple with an inverted spinning wild mouse? floorless log ride? lol. A floorless log ride is easy to do. Have a Katamaran like boat with peeps in the middle, hanging in OSTRs only, while their lower bodies get dragged through the water. Just take measures that the folks don't defecate too much during the ride. I'd personally want the "inverted spinning wild mouse" though... ...preferably built by Vekoma 70's standards for maximum enhanced ride impact experience redunzelizer
coasterguy618 Posted September 4, 2005 Posted September 4, 2005 Hmmmm.....how about launched floorless. That would be pretty cool.
coasterlover420 Posted September 4, 2005 Posted September 4, 2005 How about mixing together all the ideas from different companies? You could have a wood/steel (half and half with different track, like SOB only alot more so) hydraulic launched floorless with lots of airtime (16 seconds in total) and high speed (more than KK at least) and longer than 2 minutes.
Angry_Gumball Posted September 5, 2005 Posted September 5, 2005 Ouch! I was kinda thinking something like a roller coaster train that has ferris wheel like seating. The seats would be free rotating like on a ferris wheel and as you go down a 300 foot vertical drop, you get the same feeling as a drop tower. Airtime hills would have a whole new feeling to it as well. The actual coaster design would probably just be a hyper and where there are turns and banking, the free-rotating seats could probably lock into position to reduce stress who knows what would happen.
Robbie Posted September 5, 2005 Posted September 5, 2005 This is Crazy but I would like to see a wooden coaster with inversions like batwings and dive loops and such
Steven24 Posted September 6, 2005 Posted September 6, 2005 i floorless stand up! Kinda got that on Apocalypse at Drayton Manor, England. You have shoulder restraints and a tiny seat but you got no choice but to stand but you have no floor.
kennywood!007 Posted September 7, 2005 Posted September 7, 2005 How about a lauch coaster similar to Kingda Ka, BUT it is a inverted four seater and does a Quarter Loop at the top! Sounds good to me!
coasterlover420 Posted November 11, 2005 Posted November 11, 2005 my only PLAUSIBLE idea would be to have a steel sideride coaster. (the track is at a 90 degree bank and the riders are next to the track)
J-Man Posted November 12, 2005 Posted November 12, 2005 I've been thinking of a Stand -Up Below The Track coaster. There would be a floor, but your standing with your head almost touching the rails! i was thinking the same thing a couple days ago..it would be AWESOME....
