the ghost Posted May 5, 2013 Posted May 5, 2013 I met someone last night at Disneyland! A bit odd considering it's not who I was talking to in my last post on this thread, but she's awesome and loves Disney and loves punk and ska and I got her number and we are planning a Disney date soon!
Nrthwnd Posted May 5, 2013 Posted May 5, 2013 Happy Birthday to EVERYBODY in TPR, born on today's date! It's a big list, I must say.
Nrthwnd Posted May 9, 2013 Posted May 9, 2013 "Tomorrow ~ Tomorrow I'll buy booze ~ Tomorrow You're Only A Daaay A-waaaaaaaayy" (With apologies to "ANNIE")
imawesome1124 Posted May 18, 2013 Posted May 18, 2013 Just wrapped up an awesome jam session with my dad. I was on drums, he was on guitar, and we jammed for about an hour while the girls are out. For our first jam session I was surprised at how well I was able to jump in with his guitar and just wing it. I hope to do more of those soon!
yay101 Posted May 28, 2013 Posted May 28, 2013 Today I joined TPR Although when I started a new topic I found out there was already one like it But that's OK
SingleRiderCam Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 I forgot to post on this thread on my birthday (May 28th). Well, at least schools almost out where I live
jray21 Posted June 14, 2013 Posted June 14, 2013 Happy super late Birthday. Amy and I just went to Claim Jumper to get her $25 birthday reward from the Landry's Club!
yay101 Posted June 30, 2013 Posted June 30, 2013 YAY I just realized I have been on TPR for more than a month now YAY!
jray21 Posted July 1, 2013 Posted July 1, 2013 Wow, I just realized it's been 7 1/2 years for me! Granted, I was just a lurker for a few of those years but it doesn't seem like 7 1/2!
cal1br3tto Posted July 1, 2013 Posted July 1, 2013 Four years for me...I remember looking back once and being surprised by how early on I started posting frequently. On another forum where I was once active, I thought something like 300 posts was a lot for me!
imawesome1124 Posted July 1, 2013 Posted July 1, 2013 I remember I was SO annoying when I first started posting, considering I was only thirteen. Glad I've matured since then.
yay101 Posted July 1, 2013 Posted July 1, 2013 ^ Pfft... I've been here for almost 4 years. Wow, I just realized it's been 7 1/2 years for me! Granted, I was just a lurker for a few of those years but it doesn't seem like 7 1/2! Four years for me...I remember looking back once and being surprised by how early on I started posting frequently. On another forum where I was once active, I thought something like 300 posts was a lot for me! Wow I feel so inferior now.
jray21 Posted July 2, 2013 Posted July 2, 2013 Haha, it's a great site! It's really the only website that I've continually been following all these years. You may just be starting off, but before you know it a lot of time will pass!
SuperShawn Posted July 2, 2013 Posted July 2, 2013 ^ That is so true. It's been almost 5 years for me, plus probably a year of lurking however it feels like I just stumbled on to TPR yesterday still. Other happy note: 26 days till I leave to the Texas/Midwest trip!
Midgetman82 Posted July 8, 2013 Posted July 8, 2013 3 1/2 years for me. I still remember what it was like signing up for a coaster site to be on, and know that CoasterForce still hasn't activated my account there yet... My aunt recently discovered my Shel Silverstein 3-book set. Childhood rediscovered.
Sir Clinksalot Posted July 9, 2013 Posted July 9, 2013 Finding out you got a raise a week ago and your boss forgot to tell you.
caffeine_demon Posted July 9, 2013 Posted July 9, 2013 ^ Pfft... I've been here for almost 4 years. Wow, I just realized it's been 7 1/2 years for me! Granted, I was just a lurker for a few of those years but it doesn't seem like 7 1/2! On another forum where I was once active, I thought something like 300 posts was a lot for me! Wow I feel so inferior now. You must kneel before me and cross my palm with enough silver to pay for next years TPR trips Then, and only then will we accept you as our own.
SuperShawn Posted July 11, 2013 Posted July 11, 2013 My all time favorite shoe from my work is being remade. It's silly, pointless and it makes me more happy than you could ever guess since my current pair is in need of replacing. That is all.
Angry_Gumball Posted July 14, 2013 Posted July 14, 2013 Well, in less than 12 hours, I will ride some potentially awesome and scary carny flat rides...ones I'm looking forward to: -Zamperla Turbo Force -Orbiter (This looks insanely scary, especially if it's the lapbar only version) -Zipper (loss of Zipper virginity) -Mondial Shake (Magnum) -Chance Sky Diver -KMG Spinout (Spinning upside down will make up for no Energy Storm at the fair) -Wisdom Windsurfer (Ghetto Flyers...Butler's the first to own one of these and this is Wisdom's first flyer...it is time I go ahead and break her in via the old cable snapping technique!) -And a ton of other scary flat rides, funhouses and hopefully well-lubed up Super Slides of Death -And checking out all the crazy/weird things the fair has up...Reason why I say weird as last fair I attended, I scored some rubber fetuses that an anti-abortion booth was giving out.
Nrthwnd Posted July 14, 2013 Posted July 14, 2013 The TPR Tour to Japan went really well. And it didn't kill my partner, or myself! And he actually rode some coasters! And I want to go back to Japan as SOON as possible.
Midgetman82 Posted July 14, 2013 Posted July 14, 2013 Wal-Mart actually sells packs of 48 poptarts. Gimmie, gimmie.
