DBru Posted October 1, 2010 Posted October 1, 2010 (edited) Over the past month, Holiday World has held a contest in search of its number one fan. Each week, the park selected one video to be a finalist. The third week, my video was chosen! It is now time to vote. Below is the link to a page showing all of the videos, as well as a poll at the bottom. Each video is very different, and I'd like to congratulate all the other finalists, and thank Holiday World for holding this creative contest. http://www.holidayworld.com/node/3388 If you can find the time, I would REALLY appreciate your vote! My family and I would love to take full advantage of those four season passes. (I am Daniel, the piano player.) Edited October 2, 2010 by robbalvey

STR8FXXXINEDGE Posted October 1, 2010 Posted October 1, 2010 You got my vote! You've got a great voice, man. You ever record any other stuff?
the ghost Posted October 1, 2010 Posted October 1, 2010 1Voted! Good luck Daniel, you are very talented and have a great voice!
DBru Posted October 1, 2010 Author Posted October 1, 2010 Thanks, guys! And Brian, I haven't recorded much before. But thank you for your vote and encouragement!
the ghost Posted October 1, 2010 Posted October 1, 2010 Can you only vote once? You're only like 2 percent behind, and we can probably bring you up, especially if you can vote more than once!
ILoveRides Posted October 1, 2010 Posted October 1, 2010 As a fellow piano player/composer, you got my vote!
SharkTums Posted October 1, 2010 Posted October 1, 2010 This is my only comment on this 'contest': Funner is a regular comparative of the adjective fun. However, the use of fun as an adjective is itself still often seen as informal[1] or casual[2] and to be avoided in formal writing, and this would apply equally to the comparative form. Merriam-Webster, however, gives fun as an adjective without comment, and states that funner and funnest are ‘sometimes’ used[3]. Because of the remaining stigma, more fun may be preferred in formal writing. 'Funner' is the worst thing to happen in the last 10 years, it is NOT a real word and I can't believe how much it is used nowadays!!!!
thrillerman1 Posted October 1, 2010 Posted October 1, 2010 Wow that's great man! I voted for you and hope you win it!
braztaz Posted October 1, 2010 Posted October 1, 2010 I voted again, so I guess you can vote twice! You are in the lead by 1%!
WFChris Posted October 1, 2010 Posted October 1, 2010 Got your vote in! I hope you win. I personally find scripted small children annoying

Funner is the worst fake word ever just because its so widely used!
let1gre Posted October 2, 2010 Posted October 2, 2010 Voted! You're in second place right now, but not by much! Good luck!
DBru Posted October 2, 2010 Author Posted October 2, 2010 Wow. The little kid received 140 votes in the last 2 hours.
STR8FXXXINEDGE Posted October 2, 2010 Posted October 2, 2010 ^ I noticed the count jumped WAY up in a short period of time. I posted a link on my Facebook to try and get some more votes for you.
