^ Awesome lineup there. Love Stone Sour and Disturbed, although I personally did not care much for airbourne when they played mayhem fest. Disturbed is an AWESOME live show though!

Anyway, just bought tickets for Locally grown which is Chase Long Beach, Starpool and Suburban Legends all opening for Reel Big Fish. It should be awesome!

Muse At Wembley stadium,

aka, "arguably the best live band at the best venue in the country"

After a hearing about a worryingly pop song filled setlist for the Friday gig I lost hope for Saturday. I shouldn't have done. After three amazing support bands, Muse came, bringing with them an electrical atmosphere. The pop nonsense was removed in favor of great, rocking songs; old and new. Crowd pleasers, fan favorites and rarities were all played. The band were in absolute top-form and the production employed one of the best stages I've ever seen.

My only concern now is going back to normality after experiencing the pinnacle of enjoyment.

^Muse is easily one of if not the single best band I have ever seen live. Not only are they're songs fantastic and catchy, they performance they put on combined with the stage setups they have made it an incredible experience. Seriously one of the greatest bands of this decade, easy.

Rush was amazing tonight. 3 hours of pure joy.

They played all of Moving Pictures, BU2B, Caravan, Subdivisions, some stuff on Snakes & Arrows, Closer to the hear, 2112, and Working Man, plus some other songs that I can't really name.

It was just an amazing night.

YYZ was so epic by the way.

That's a kick-A$$ stage setup for Muse.

Nah, that's an awesome stage setup for any other band. For Muse it's just the latest in a string of fantastic designs!!

I saw them both nights at Wembley on the barrier each time. On Friday Chris threw me his harmonica which was nice

So i am a Rush fan... maybe a little too obsessed!

Think of this as a subtopic to the music/concerts topics, just only about Canada's greatest export, RUSH

Anyhoo! Im seeing them tomorrow night in Atlanta! This will be my second time witnessing them (first was S&A in '08!) Has anyone else seen them this tour? On on any tour perhaps?

I wish I could find tickets for them live, but I have never gotten around to it. Having said that, I'm a big fan of Rush just because of the incredible instrumentation they achieve with only three people. Anyone who says that Neil Peart is not the best drummer in history is stupid. Just flat out. Having said that, I do wish Getty Lee's voice was about an octave lower...

Just saw Slayer, Megadeth, and Anthrax at the Hard Rock Live in Universal's Citywalk (the cheaper, better alternative to Halloween Horror Nights )

I was right on the fence near the stage, too bad there were dozens of metal fans trying to pull me out so they could get my spot, but I held on the the fence (I came and waited outside Hard Rock 2 hours early so i could get that spot, there was no way in hell I was going to give it up that easily )

I went to the Arcade Fire concert at the Shrine last night (Oct, 7). Oh my God, one of the greatest things I will ever witness. The crowd got so into it, PLUS, they played Deep Blue, which is one of my favorites from The Suburbs, and one that they've rarely played on tour.

The Black Crowes at the local Indian casino last night. Great show! Much better than when I saw them there a couple of years ago when the acoustics were God-awful. They're a really good jam band - if you're into that sort of thing.

^ Wow...Swans are still around? I bet that would be a very interesting show!

I remember listening to them years ago back when I was transitioning from heavy/thrash/death/punk metal to more alternative stuff. A friend of mine had just about all of their cd's and loved them.

White Light From The Mouth Of Infinity, Body to Body-Job to Job & Cop were some of my favorites, but Real Love was an album that could push someone with depression right over the edge...literally! The one song where he just keeps repeating, "Stick a knife in me...I'm worthless" over and over was maddening!
